Casual and quick for pizzas and beer or a burger and fries in a ski resort town. Modest prices for a ski resort and big enough place for a crowd or group. Not as packed as the more popular Japanese style restaurants. Dessert cookies were great as well.

For a unique dining and shopping experience in Niseko, SEKKA lab should be at the top of your list. During the day SEKKA lab is the perfect hangout for those ready to take a break from the mountain, get away from the crowds and wanting to experience the l
I have only eaten lunch and it was a set menu but you do have a choice. The black ink squid spaghetti was outstanding. ... great flavour and the pasta was cooked al dente. Very impressed. The ambiance is old Japan, with various antiques lamps and furniture. My lunch was an interesting salad, black ink squid spaghetti and a very good cappuccino for 1,500 yen
This cafe serves breakfast and lunch and is conveniently located at the entrance of the Hanazono ski resort. Not a huge choice for breakfast but the paninis are very tasty. For lunch, tis the usual ski cafe fare like curries and pizzas. Apart from the usual noodles, they serve a delicious crab ramen.

This is an excellent restaurant in all respects. The dinner is top notch and a little pricey but worth it. They do weekday lunch specials which are excellent value and you would normally pay double for the meals offered including Pork, Salmon, Pasta, Venison or Steak during August, from 1200 JPY, and add 600 to include salad, soup and dessert. There are free flow teas and bread table. It's a lovely venue and staff are professional and discreet. Top notch !

Boasting 50 years of tradition from Kutchan, Yukitei Niseko Restaurant brings authentic Hokkaido cuisine from the farm and sea to the table. Our signature Gosetsu Udon is made from 100% Kutchan potatoes and bathed in the family's secret dashi stock. Melt
Great lunch menu. We ordered the tempura prawn rice bowl and the deluxe sashimi/seafood rice bowl. Both were phenomenal! We also ordered a tray/box of uni (sea urchin) which was 10,000 yen but it was worth it. Super sweet and no nasty seafood aftertaste like some uni has. We went back the second day because the food and quality was so good! Weâre definitely coming back on our next visit!

Iwanai is a strange Industrial fishing port town with a good few restaurants clustered in what is sort of the town centre. The restaurants aren't all the obvious so you have to look. We saw the flag and a picture menu in the window so ventured in. It's a very dated little family joint hooked up with a small hotel. It's very 'Mum n Dad' and dated decor wise. They had ok dating with tables and a few Tatami floor settings. The meals were fine and they did nice Kids Sets which were done well as was my lunch set of Sushi and cold Soba and our 4th meal was hot Soba with tempura. Prices are average and service sufficient. It looks fine frequented by locals so safe bet, though not the Ritz.
