The food was really good, and the staff were very friendly. We ordered the mixed sizzler plate (their specialty) beef/chicken & shrimp was perfectly cooked. The sausage that came with it was not to my liking. Overall very nice authentic place one of the oldest restaurant in Kuwait, reminds me of my childhood memories. Offers a variety of dishes and nice atmosphere.

Nice set up opposite the block 9 area( Fabrics market) Kuwait city. The food is tasty but heavy since lots of sauces used are mayonnaise based. The jackpot fries is one million calories but irresistible, the fried chicken strips taste was enhanced by the honey mustard, the smoked truffled mac and cheese was spot on and the brown butter grilled shrimp & chicken quesadilla were good but nothing special. The pain perdu desert has the bread too thick making the inner dough slightly soggiesh. The food presentation is very good but not the service. Overall recommended

Despite the fact that I personally donât like buffets, the Marina hotel restaurant is one of the few exceptions and serves one of the best buffets in Kuwait, in short the food and services are excellent and hope they sustain it.

Crowne Plaza, Kuwait is more of a business hotel where lots of meetings take place. Al-Ahmadi restaurant which is continental buffet restaurant in Crowne Plaza is host to most post meeting dinners. I have dined at this restaurant, time and again and felt their food quality very patchy, being exceptional at times while at others totally bonkers. This all has changed during last few visits as their food has consistently improved. My review is based on latest dinner I had with my colleagues. The menu is as extensive as it can be, mostly being Arabic cuisine, along with other choices. Salad station is the winner here as the salads are not only diverse but also fresh and delicious, The dessert counter is quite versatile as well. There is a fresh counter where you can get grilled fish, Shawarma and Shish Tawook. The quality of the food has gotten better as I came to know from the fresh counter guy that a new chef has been hired and I have to say he is doing the job well so far.The only problem I always had with this place and it continues is bland attitude of the staff. I never saw manager visiting our table. Mostly I have to ask for cutlery or drinks many times till they are served. There is no smile to be seen. May be frequent business lunch and dinners have made the staff to care less but that's not a justification. This shaves off a notch from the venue to be a perfect buffet place. I hope they deal with this issue soon.Otherwise, if the food quality remains as it was during last 2 visits, its a good place to eat.Dear devilsdr,Thank you for your review.I am delighted to know that you enjoyed your time at Al Ahmadi Restaurant. It is our aim to provide all our guests with a memorable experience.I have shared your kind words with the restaurant team and we all look forward to welcoming you back in the near future.Kind regards,Ibrahem ElieshRestaurant Manager

We visited Lenotre today at Iftar. We were very happy to see amazing ambience, very well set tables that gave everyone privacy and a peaceful calm atmosphere unlike many other 5 star restaurants where it is loud and very noisy. At iftar time one wishes certain level of peace too. The food was excellent with great selection. The service was top level. I will strongly recommend a visit at iftar during this ramadan. It is something to be experienced.
