âGasthof Jerolitschâ is a traditional restaurant that was created more than a century ago, i.e. long before the highway was built that now somehow eclipses it. But inside the restaurant and even at its outside seating area the highway is unnoticeable. The corridor, richly decorated with dozens of stuffed fishes, makes clear from the outset that this restaurant specializes in fish dishes. The walls of one of the dining rooms are equally densely covered with hunting trophies. Indeed, in fall game dishes also feature prominently on the menu. Overall, the interior of âGasthof Jerolitschâ is rustic and quite old-fashioned, but in fairly good condition. The menu was comprehensive and comprised apart from fish and game also various other dishes of the regional and international cuisines, most of which were based on meat. A whole page was devoted to dishes of the day.The friendly waitress friendly turned out not to be particularly attentive. The restaurant was almost empty when we visited it at late lunch time on a Saturday. This may have played a part in keeping the waiting time for our meals enjoyably short. Although one of us had ordered fish, they did not bother to replace the ordinary knife by a fish knife. This and the no-thrills manner of dressing the food revealed that âGasthof Jerolitschâ is not a high-end restaurant. It became clear that the dishes we had selected were not very refined either, but they tasted good and the portions were quite large. In view of that and of the really affordable prices this restaurant provided great value for money and seems worth to be recommended.

Last year we discovered this attractive restaurant with has all the advantages. A beautiful site at the Woerthersee, with the large outdoor seating area right at the waterfront, excellent food and professional service of the staff. Furthermore, a three course lunch offer is priced very competitively, mitigating the only possible reason to avoid this restaurant, the rather elevated food prices in this touristy area. we had a nice lunch at the waterfront with glorious weather, excellent food an cold beer. When in the neighbourhood, lunch at Seerestaurant Sille is indeed a no-brainer.

The cosy Bistro 151 is unique in Austria and the surrounding of the wörthersee. There is a bar area, a small restaurant part, a large restaurant part for groups and parties and a terrace for over 70 people. Come and enjoy the Austrian, Mediterrane, Asian
The reviews are so right, great place, great ambiance and great food. And staff that makes you feel very welcome and appreciated!A reason for a d-tour when you are around the Woertersee. We had nice starters (raw biff tartar, escargots Viennese), mains where veal (rolled and blend with Parmesan and rucola) and the catch of the day (steamed freshwater fish with vegetables). Not often we take desserts but here we tried the Chocolate cake fondant and an impression of Apfelstrudel.Nice white Austrian wine to complete this lovely meal, and of course a grappa to finish. (Grappa Nonino, not the best but maybe we are to spoiled by Berta Grappa)
