Pod Odrnom is a family run restaurant, established in 1967. We are passionate about Dalmatian and Mediterranean cuisine, thus our menu is based on local products and groceries. We offer steaks and traditional seafood prepared on the charcoal grill, as wel
On our last night in Omis we found this restaurant by accident. And Iâm so lucky we did! Itâs very easy to miss, but please donât. We had our best meal of the week here, and we think they have the best vegetarian food in Omis! The staff is really friendly and service-minded, and everyone knows english which is a big plus. They have a long wine list with both local wine and international well-known ones. Our waitor was really helpful and recommended a nice chardonnay with the food. They also have sparkling wines by glass and whole bottles. As a starter we had a lovely cheese plate with local croatian cheeses, olives, nuts and jams (bread included). For our main courses we had one pasta with mozzarella, ruccola and tomatoes. The chef even made us one truffle pasta without prusciotto which it normally comes with! Both dishes were delicious and the portions generous. They also have deserts, different coffees and so on. I am so glad that we found this place. After a few days in Omis as a vegetarian you get really tired of tasteless vegetarian risotto and pasta with grilled vegetables like every restaurant has as their only vegetarian options... I will definetely come back and recommend it to all my vegetarian friends! We are pleased that we have completed your day and left a positive impression. Thank you for your time and attention that you have spent to leave us a review. Thank you for visiting, we hope to see you again.
Where to eat Croatian food in Krilo: The Best Restaurants and Bars

Continuous family tradition since 1981, in the very heart of the Old town, Restaurant Puljiz offers traditional Croatian and international cuisine, refreshments, cocktails, desserts and Croatian wines from carefully selected cellars.
We ate here whilst on holiday. The waiting staff were lovely. The setting is lovely with a rooftop area. The food was distinctly average. I had a flabby seabass which I suspect was kept under a hotplate, it did not arrive sizzling hot. My companions ordered steak which was topped in a sauce tasting of liver, which overwhelmed the steak. The vegetable chard tasted earthy and looked like slop. Putting this down to experience we were about to pay up and leave, when the manageress started screaming at customers behind us who had complained about their food. She ranted and raged that they did not know what they were talking about. It was horrible. What if someone pushed to tears your staff/ colleague who has been working with people over 20 years and never lost nerve and cried because of a guest? If someone was constantly rude, offensive to your family, what would you do? I reacted. Yes, I was loud and wanted that person to leave the restaurant and apologize to my colleague, without any hesitation and without paying. The situation was caused by a very rude woman whose problem was not the food only. Actually, she ate it and then decided to make a fuss. Her family kept apologizing for her behavior all the time. I also apologized to you and everybody else who was there for the scene caused. I never did it before and surely will handle it differently should something like that repeat. All the guests understood what was going on, accepted my apology, and no one complained about anything that night. So, now, tell me, if it was so, why did you eat bad fish, earthy-like chard and funny tasting sauce (we don't serve liver at all), finished your meal and didn't say a word to our staff who could have done something to fix it on spot.Instead of asking a proper service for yourself, you chose to write your first review on TA, a week after the visit, about other's people business.Client is a king. Life's a Beach Cocktail and Bistrobar Fresh grilled fish, fresh grilled Beefsteak variations (Beef-filet, Ramsteak, T-Bone), Heartwarming pasta dishes, Delicious salad variations and a lot of beautiful and delicious Cocktails with excellent Quality.
We turned up in a large group on the spur of the moment and they were extremely accommodating- moving tables, helping with separate ordering and billing for 5 families! A lovely setting where the kids can play on the beach if they finish while the adults eat at a more leisurely pace.

The heat in the restaurant is very uncomfortable. They are on the wrong side of the road for the beach so they shutters keep the car noise out and subsequently it is stifling. The food is BIG, they give you chips and rice and huge chunk of whatever you ordered, this can be seen as a plus but I prefer to go with quality and not quantity.Service cannot complain and it was priced correctly.

We popped in because it was one of the few places serving food in April. The views and location are lovely and the server was very friendly. The food was very average. Did not seem like the freshest product, but good enough.
