This has become our regular stop while travelling trough Germany , the portion are enormous , the meat incredibly tasty ,and the service friendly , and they even welcome dogs!The restaurant also have around few homemade little ornaments for sale, very cute, would definitely recommend this place to anyone passing by.

stets ein freundliches wort, sehr zuvorkommend zu allen gästen. preis - leistungsverhältnis ist einfach sehr gut. sehr gute, hervorragende küche mit groÃer auswahl. egal wieviele gäste dort sind, man wird sofort wahrgenommen und es wird sich umgehend um einen gekümmert ( sehr gut ). das personal so wie der chef bezw. chefin sind stets für ihre gäste da und haben für alles ein offenes ohr. kurzgesagt : einfach klasse und überdurchschnittlich !!!

Also es gibt dort absolut nichts zu bemängeln. Geschmacklich top, freundlich und ein stilvolles Ambiente.Das einzige was uns störte war : es fehlte etwas der Mut zu einer pfiffigeren Speisekarte. Fast nur die üblichen Fleischspeisen die man in so einem Lokal erwartet. Auch bei den Desserts vier oder fünf Standardsachen. Mal etwas wo man sagt : Oh, das möchte ich aber mal probieren, da kann ich mir vorab nichts drunter vorstellen, das fehlte leider.Aber das ist "klagen" auf hohem NIveau.

Aquila restaurant is very nice restaurant. Staff is very helpful, they serve Indian food as well. You must try this place. Good food, good values for money.

We went to the Angus, because our hotel restaurant was closed on a Monday as were a number of restaurants in Niddeggen. Needless to say it was quite busy, but we were able to get a table. The solitary friendly waiter was friendly, even though he was he was rushed off his feet serving people. Even so the service was pretty good. The restaurant offered a strange combination of dishes ranging from Italian pasta and pizza dishes, Indian dishes, traditional German dishes (schnitzels) and steaks. Many of the customers were having Indian dishes, but we opted for something else, as we had eaten in an Indian restaurant the night before. My wife had a schnitzel with pommes-frites and side salad and I had the grill platter with rosemary potatoes. Although, not excellent the food was still good and hit the spot. Certainly a strange combination of dishes.

Visited Das BrauHaus for an evening meal on a Friday. Restaurant was not too busy and we were seated straight away.Food was tasty, German Fayre and all very fresh. Waiter was very helpful with our poor attempts at German!Would eat here again if in the area.

the view over the lake is great. once a while the train passes by. they serve traditional german food.
