Find out what International restaurants to try in Kauai. Relaxing and pristine Kauai (the Garden Island) is the least commercially developed of the Hawaiian islands. Waterfalls, scenic drives and more than 60 beaches dot the landscape. Some beaches have great snorkeling, others offer child-friendly tidal pools and some are perfect for all kinds of water sports. We stopped for lunch and ordered 2 burgers and a BLT. Service was very good and the burgers were hand-pressed thick burgers made from good quality local beef. The BLT had a good amount of bacon, but for some reason the bottom slice of toast was wet.Rob's is a sports bar with a local vibe. It was very busy and the quality and quantity of the food we saw being carried by looked good.I plan to return to Rob's in the future to try a few other dishes, but the hamburgers are really good.

Made a reservation. Showed up and received a greeting and water approximately 10 min after arrival. James, our server, said heâd be right back to take our drink order. We bid them goodbye and told them we had waited too long to be served! So very sad for a restaurant of this caliber and price range in a resort so awesome! Can not recommend RumFire!:(

We stopped by Merriman's during happy hour for a pina colada and a Big Wave on draft last week. What was really nice about the experience was that there was a small band just outside (guitar, ukelele and bass) singing Hawaiian songs. Worth a stop! 3 1/2 stars.
