Did not end up with any good experiences the last few trips when I got the drivers to recommend sunset seafood dinner at Jimbaran. Relied on TripAdvisor's reviews this time round & visited the highly rated & recommended Bawang Merah Beachfront restaurant (against my driver's wishes)!!! This restaurant is situated just next to Ibiza Beach Club (very cool & funky) & quite away from the crowds. There were about 10 to 15 tables on the beach front which was pretty cosy and not overly congested, perfect for my family dinner. Pricewise I won't consider it cheap, but the group of 4 adults & 1 toddler, we had the Royal Family Honeymoon package which comes with a large lobster (at least 1 Kg), 1 large grilled snapper, calamaris, 8 large king prawns, 8 clams & 4 juices for about IDR 3 million (inclusive of taxes). Food was very presentable & sufficient for us and we found the seafood delicious. No complaints this time round as the price was agreed with Mr. Gede upon ordering & the food delivered was up to expectations. A good experience finally...

Absolutely love it!! I recommend this restaurant to anyone going to Bali.Food: 8/10Well plated as you can see in my photos, delicious maybe a tad salty but still mouth watering. I was very happy that they thought of putting lights on the table as i like to see what i eat.The menu is not bulky and it is quite easy to choose. Mostly seafood dishes although you can find chicken and lamb or veg menu too.Service: 10/10impeccable! They have many waiters buf are well organised. It is secured and waiters are very professional. It is well known for itâs setting, amazing view over the waves of the ocean too. Swipe to my last photo to see the waves crashing behind us during our dinner. It has great bars although one canât be used if the tides are too high. The view is just breathtaking. 10/10It has a wonderful atmosphere, we had live music with a fabulous singer and band. They took clientsâ requests and they definitely met their expectations.It is also such a lovely place for honeymooners as well as group of friends. 10/10Price/quality wise i think itâs so worth it. It is not that expensive although it is on the high hand and above average. 9/10What can i say? Great food!!! Ordered the baby snapper and they served it whole. It was delicious and came with three different sauces. All three were fantastic and had different types of heat. Only downside is you do get a lot of bugs just being so close to the water and the beachDear Dayter,Thank you very much for dining with us and posting you review on TripAdvisor, we are glad that you enjoyed the whole baby red snapper along with sauces. The smoothie shop is a small cafe type place right at the entrance of Mandala. The access is not easy if you drive a car (no parking and a very very steep street). The place itself is very small but nicely decorated. The food is great, simple but fresh and tasty. Weâve had the avocado toast, shakshuka, Mediterranean plate and halloumi salad and all was very nice. Overall a non pretentious place serving great food! Highly recommended Oh and big up to the resident dog whoâs so good with kids :)

We were scrolling down the Jimbaran beach when we saw this place and had to check it out.I tried the Falafel with tahini sauce and green, but did not like it (coming from a middle eastern background and knowing what real Falafel tastes like so that is the reason). Ate here today on our way home from the beach.Staff were very warm and welcoming.Explained all the specials to us aswell.Food was fantastic, we tried to keep our choice traditional, the ribs were beautiful and very meaty. The prawns were absolutely unbelievable and the sauce they came with was phenomenal. Looking at other peoples meals, everything looked delicious.Even to the point of having a one of their children taking great delight in handing out a flower to all diners.The bill was real value.Staff are fantastic and the food is delicious.This is a definate must visit!Thank you Kie for your review!
