Nice rooms, good bath rooms as well as high speed free wi-fi. Breakfast very good and running late to account for late night wine tastings as well. Parking is easy in the streets around and there is a plethora of wine places around. Not to mention that the in-house restaurant is more than tolerable.

Auf Grund vorjähriger Erfahrungen besuchten wir dieses Restaurant erneut. Die Erwartungen was das Essen betrifft wurden diesmal jedoch leider nicht erfüllt. Das Buffet mit mehreren Hauptgerichten, Suppe und Dessert war ok. Das servierte Gericht mit Rind, Schwein und Pute hat jedoch nicht das gehalten, was wir uns versprochen hatten. Fleisch war teilweise zu lange in der Pfanne und dadurch am Rand etwas hart.Ansonsten ein sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Essen, das von der Karte bestellte, und Getränke kamen sehr zügig, obwohl ein Bus voller Gäste da war.Nettes Ambiente. Der Gastgarten ist leider nicht mehr so schön, wie er einmal war. Schade.

My husband and I recently spent a weekend in Morbisch. We picked this restaurant for dinner at random and were very pleasantly surprised. It has a lovely traditional interior and atmosphere. The menu offered a range of more modern style Austrian dishes with a focus on local produce, especially fish from the lake. We were very happy with the quality of food. I had the seasonal soup for starter followed by tagliatelle with chanterelles, both were extremely good. The restaurant itself can cater for a large number of people and it has an outdoor terrace which would be lovely in the warmer months. My only negative comment is that our waiter was not very friendly and it felt more like the service given in Vienna rather than the usually friendly service in Burgenland.
