Traditional homemade food.Lunch. International cooking. Homemade cakes. Great coffee. Barriste. Wine and bear. Local arts for sale. By the river.
We arrived here after startin at Hemsedal Cafe which was awful. This place was great, friendly staff and wonderful coffee from Solberg&Hansen. While waiting in line to pay my son mentioned that we had been at Hemsedal Cafe and the people in front of us said they had also been there and were just as unhappy with it as we were, read my reveiw on the place. The staff here was soo nice and helpful similing and laughing and positive to all and everyone. Loved it here, and it was clean and bright as well :-)

This is a large cafe/restaurant in the bottom of the slopes in Hemsedal Skicenter. Very busy during daytime With buffet in one part and cafe in the other part. In the evening its a restaurant With mainly pizza on the menu. Little People during the evening. Pizza quality is ok, but like Skigaarden on top of the slopes have much better pizzas. To serve americano in a whiskey glass is just hopeless. All in all medium quality in this Place.

Located in the base area of Hemsedal Skisenter. Skistua serves breakfast, lunch and (in the weekends) worldclass afterski!
Of all the restaurants available at the bottom of lifts (there are 3) Skistuan has the best food, quickest services and super friendly staff. The decor isn't as good as the restaurant in the ski centre but the food is far superior.Mad party place for après on the weekend but quiet mid week.Hi Anki, Nice to hear that you had a good visit at Skistua. Hope you`ll find time to visit us in the near future. Best RegardsEmil Jonsson
