Welcome to Hermannsdorfers im Schuetzenhaus, the original restaurant with beer garden and office market. Enjoy The view of the Santis and let it go. In the immediate vicinity playground, hiking trails, game reserve, sports fields, herb and wild herbs plan
We went here with the family. Whether you have teenagers or your parents, are a meat eater or vegan, the chef is very flexible and happy to adopt the meal to your preference. The vegan dish was delicious, the portions are pretty large. Great food, friendly service, family run restaurant!

Yet another wonderful experience at Ophelia! We love visiting during the summer months when you can sit outside on the beautiful terrace and indulge in the incredible menu. The staff was very attentive and classic, the food was creative and inspired, and the atmosphere wonderful. What a great evening! On top of it they were able to accommodate a severe food allergy (with advanced notice) - thank you to the chefs!

Elegantly renovated hotel/reasaurant with a glamorous flair. Very good food (special wow for their citrus sorbet with fruits), friendly helpful stuff, and fair prices. Nice bar and lounge downstairs with trendy summery music and good cocktails. Good job, guys!

Tiny, great food! Every item we ordered was fabulous! As there is not a lot of seating, I would recommend getting there early. This restaurant was recommended by a local owner of a winebar that we had stopped by earlier that afternoon. He said that this was one of the few local restaurants that he would recommend to tourists. He was soooo right! After looking at other places, we decided to eat here two nights in our three night stay in Meersburg.

We figured that this place has good reviews and opted to dine here. The food is good and so is the service. We also ordered for some desserts and it was yummy too. Our only problem was that we were given German menu and we had to use google translate to understand what we can order. Other than that, we had a great experience.

Amazing stuff, delicious and fresh meals, great fisch, quick and professional. Must have.We have choose this place for a lunch after Tripadviser reading - only that we can say, it was unexpactable great time there. The young man (sadly can not remember the name) is one of the best waiters which I ever saw.

Sunday lunch is pretty usual in England but for some reason not so in Germany, so we were surprised to find a restaurant open for Sunday lunch. We had reservations but really didn't need them as, despite the lively setting alongside a marina and quite close to a ferry dock, the restaurant wasn't very busy. Service at first was efficient but completely disappeared by the last course.Portions are large so only order a first course if you're really hungry. Salads were generous but not very tasty despite what should be tasty ingredients. The companion had the steak and cheese spatzle. Despite being cooked medium the steak was tough but the spatzle was under-seasoned. The entree came with a side salad. My dish of lake fish was generous with various fishes from Lake Constance. There were six small fillets, again well cooked but under-seasoned. The dish came with six boiled potatoes and a melange of shredded vegetables that looked like it had been sitting for a long while in a steam tray. Desserts, when we got them, were very good. My macaroon with fresh berries and berry ice cream was excellent tainted by the disappearance of almost every member of the wait staff. We sat for a good 20 minutes before someone patrolled the dining area. Then another 15 before we were able to order coffee and the bill. Can't explain the problem but suspect everyone clocked off at 14,00 despite customers still sitting at tables. If you choose the Seehof for a meal get there early.Thank you for your visit, hopefully you had a nice trip at the Bodensee. Seemed you have chosen the nicest locations around. Sincerely Jürgen Hallerbach
