Recently passed this somewhat out of the way place on the way to work. It is in a fairly non-descript location. There is a street car stop in front of it (Tram Nr. 19), also it is the end station for Bus 131. What a surprise! Best ribs I have ever had in Munich (been here 27 years). Menu is compact but they also had a fish filet from the grill which we tried and was also good. The ribs however are fall off the bone good and tender. No dryness or toughness, perfect. The sides of grilled veggies were a hit, fresh and not worn out. Service was excellent. Nice tap selection from the Hofbräu Haus (hell, dark, wheat). Highly recommend a trip.

After several hours checking out Nymphenburg Palace, you may want to take a break. And, I can't think of a better spot than Schlosscafe im Palmenhaus. Their pretty setting on the grounds of the palace, is the perfect place to recharge your batteries. That's what I did. While the menu offers a small selection of soups, salads and entrees, I opted for a coffee and apple strudel, having already had a big breakfast. I not only enjoyed the apple strudel, but sitting outside on a warm sunny day. Great food and service by Janet and Marion. We were hungry, jet lagged and needed nourishment and a friendly face and this place fulfilled both needs! We had typical German dishes recommended by our new friends and ate it all up eagerly. Thank you again for bringing us back to life and filling our bellies with goodness!!

There are a number of things that set this restaurant apart from the other we went to - lovely refined food, efficient and casual service, quaint neighbourhood â but what really impressed was the sommelier and wine pairings. For each wine, we were given a lovely description of the wine itself but also why that particular wine was chosen for the dish we were having. It really made the entire evening very special. A must-go-to spot for dinner in Munich.

It is known that Italian food is among the best ones in the world. This bring a burden to us, when we go abroad. Finding good restaurant is not easy and Germany is no exception.Johannas is the exception !We had a fish menu and it was simply perfect.Price wan not low (55 E + drinks) but in Milano you spend the same for less.

I went to Laurus for the first time a day ago, I was part of an Wedding party who had rented out the most of the resturant. What can say service outstanding as soon as we entered we were greeted with smiles and friendly service, the food is fantastic everything from first to last course was of a wonderful quality, the wine heavenly , the waiters were so attentive as soon as your glass was empty they were there asking what you would like, the restaurant is also tastefully decorated and the toliets are very stylish. I would highly recommend it as a place to have a function or indeed just a meal for 2,4 etc.I can think of nothing negative to say at all, I cannot wait to go again as I very happy to have found this jewel in Graefelfing, Muenchen.

We ate here with our two small children and from start to finish it was a wonderful experience. The food and service were excellent. The menu is a very interesting collection of everything from a Bavarian Schnitzel to curry fusion dishes. The restaurant is family owned and the chef is the owner. Despite the amazing food, it still is a very down to earth and unpretentious atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and brought our kids coloring books and colored pencils to keep them occupied and happy while we waited for our freshly prepared meal. The portions were just right and we really enjoyed the evening. If you want a great dining experience with unusual dishes, you will enjoy coming not thus restaurant many times.

I definitely recommend visiting Risotto! True Italian cuisine with excellent hospitality service. The owner, Biaglio, came to visit with us and talk to us about Italy and our meal after. This was truly like having cuisine from Italy. Excellent all the way around!

A very unassuming exterior hides a well appointed and large restaurant staffed by women. Very good food,interesting and very well presented. I had asparagus with chicken which had been roasted with truffle under the crisp skin,a total winner.
