We kwamen toevallig hier langs. We werden hartelijk ontvangen. Een heerlijknhuiselijke sfeer.Niet te veel tafels , dus knus. De kaart biedt veel keuzes voor lunch en dinner.de prijs/kwaliteitverhouding is prima.wij hadden heerlijke uien en tomatensoep vooraf en namen een schnitzel met ui en champignonnensaus.wat zag dat er heerlijk en verzorgd uit .Erg gastvrij personeel en in het aansluitende cafeetje kan je nog een borrel nemen.al met al zeker een aanrader met voldoende parkeerruimte en zeer schone frisse toiletten.

Stayed here for one night and ate in the restaurant. The restaurant is excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend it. The house wines were carefully-selected and the short menu attractive. The dished I had were well-cooked and well-sized. Breakfast too was of a high quality.The Mezzo is a "restaurant with rooms". The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable, but not up to the standard of the restaurant. This is reflected in the price and I found my room perfectly acceptable.

We ate at the Akropolis while passing through Kleve. We like Greek food and have eaten it during many stays in Greece and Cyprus. The nicest thing we found with the food at the Akropolis is that it is truly authentic. The second best thing was the outstanding service. The staff are kind, helpful and attentive, and exceedingly hospitable. I would recommend the Akropolis to anyone staying in or passing through Kleve.

I was invited out to dinner at De Lange Waard by friends and had the most wonderful and delicious evening. We were welcomed personally by the host and the staff were most attentive, without being too obtrusive! The menu was mouthwateringly appetizing and I had real difficulty in chosing my courses. The host however, gave great explanations and recommendations. I enjoyed it so much I took my sister there two days later for anohter FABULOUS meal, with the same great hospitality shown to us. A real gem! Highly recommended!

We stopped during a cycling tour for a lunch at this restaurant we could see the river from the terrace so there was nothing wrong with the location. Allthough we were quite hungry we did not like the food. The french fries were half raw and tastless. My crocket did not have taste at all.

Waren kurz vor Feierabend dort und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, nette Atmosphäre, die Salate waren spitze, sehr frisch&leckeres Dessing.Wir hatten schon viel gutes gehört und wurden nicht enttäuscht.Wir werden mit Sicherheit wiederkommen und auch mal etwas von der aktuellen Wochenkarte probieren. Sind schon gespannt.Klare Empfehlung.

I love pancakes and this place has a lot of them, you can choose pancakes with everything on it. I picked a pancake with cheese and bacon and it tasted good. Service is friendly and speaks Dutch and German. You can sit inside and outside and it has a lot of teddy bears on the wall which looks quite cool. Recommendable for some good pancakes (or waffles), we paid around â¬11 per person including drinks.

Sometimes the food is okay, the other time your steak is overcooked. Its not expensive, its not cheap. Been there a couple of times, but im not going anymore. You can get a better meal elsewhere for less.

We came into the restaurant at around 19:00 hours, and went looking for a table, the lady (well, she was no lady, but female anyway) behind the counter yelled at us "KITCHEN IS CLOSED"Not, I am sorry gentlemen, but we closed the kitchen early, no, "KITCHEN IS CLOSED".So, the food is worse than bad, it is not even served.
