We are situated in the most historic part of Windsor town, one minute's walk from Windsor Castle and directly opposite the Guildhall. We have al fresco dinning in the picturesque cobbled street during the summer months and live music every Friday and Satu
Friendly staff on arrival. Restaurant was clean and well presented. Fresh linen on each table. Recommend booking ahead as the restaurant is small and we saw people being turned away. Starters are £5-6 each. We shared a Greek salad and calamari dish. Salad was not very authentic. Contained mostly lettuce with few olives and little feta with no traditional herbs. Calamari was better value for money. For our main meal we both ordered a Stifado dish priced at £19.95. The dish was very tasty but again lacked the authentic Greek element. There were no baby onions as you would expect with this dish and the rice was a better option compared to chips, which were a little on the soggy side. Lovey inviting restaurant but overpriced.

Martin and Wendy Higgins are proud to welcome you to The Prince Albert. It is a traditional pub with the warm welcome you would expect, yet with a contemporary twist. With itâs sumptuous leather chairs, modern styling and rich wood furniture you will feel
We chose The Prince Albert for a family meal after 2 days at Legoland having read the excellent reviews on TripAdvisor. This proved to be an excellent decision. We received a warm welcome on arrival and were shown through to the restaurant where Rosie showed us to our table and dealt with us very efficiently throughout. The food and drink was excellent and good value, and we all had a great experience. We will certainly return when we are next in the area.

We visited Stovell's for a wedding anniversary celebration following a recommendation. The whole evening was a joy(!) from being greeted upon arrival, having a drink at the bar, being seated, served and dined. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Service was exemplary! Both the ambiance and environment were lovely and well suited for a wonderful fine-dining experience!Food wise, we ordered a selection of starters (crab and octopus to name but two) from the a la carte menu and were not disappointed. For mains, we opted for the beef wellington (comes with a customised twist!) and the lobster - both were very well presented and full of flavour with wonderful texture. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening/dining experience and would not hesitate in recommending Stovell's to our friends and family. We will definitely be back!

A hidden gem in the heart of leafy Sunningdale, The Tablespoon offers a relaxed atmosphere with the restaurant & secret garden buzzing from early till late. With contemporary twists on traditional British dining, and fusion dishes, we serve an eclectic ra
The Tablespoon offers a truly international mix of Western and Eastern dishes, from Burgers, cornfed chicken, and fish & chips to samosas, curries, and teriyaki glazed sesame tuna. However, the problem with such a wide range of cuisines is that itâs almost impossible to pay justice to all their individualities. The Tablespoon is no exception. For example, the chilli paneer, which I was assured to be very spicy, turned out to be completely devoid of chilli. It tasted good in a soulfoody way, more like a ratatouille with paneer, only without the mediterranean herbs. If itâs meant to be that way it should better be named bellpepper paneer. After I mentioned that to the waitress, I got kind of overcompensated by tons of chilli in my dumbay ki nihari, almost as if the cook had thought ok, now Iâm gonna show him. On the other hand, essential ingredients were missing, like fresh coriander or cumin. The tender lamb shank was not cut into morsels but served whole in deep a bowl of thinnish liquid, which made I wonder how it was meant to be eaten - as gravy it was way too much for the rice that came with it, and for a stew or a soup it was too hot and, sorry, too nondescript. The sesame tuna was good, maybe a bit too salty, while some of that salt could have been put to good use in the rather watery potato mash that came with the cornfed chicken. When I settled the bill they kindly offered to drop the paneer, but that wouldnât have been fair as I had more or less finished it. I should also mention here that service in general was very friendly and very fast.If fusion was the concept behind this way of cooking one should keep in mind that this means combining the idiosyncracies of different cuisines, very often yielding surprising and exciting results. My impression was that too much of Asia got lost on the way to Sunningdale, in order to accommodate the Western palate.Thank you for your very detailed and constructive feedback. It is always valuable for us to hear how we can perhaps improve dishes, despite it being after the dining event. Sadly, I can't agree that Asia got lost on the way to Sunningdale as we (the owners) are Asian, and have built the fusion menu on a Kenyan-Indo-Fijian heritage! However, perhaps we are catering to accommodate a certain Western palate. Our Fusion Kitchen comes highly reviewed, but it can only get better with close constructive feedback, so thank you for taking the time to do so. I hope that you do decide to return to us where we will do our best to improve your experience.

Louise, Graham, and the team welcome you to our village pub near Thorpe Park where we have just 2 aims; 1. to provide you with an excellent dining/drinking experience, and 2. to do it for the best price locally. Try us once, and we'd be delighted both to
so just got home from their last chance with us, DISSAPOINTED, seated on time as I went to the service hatch, drinks order in time, starters order taken in time, starters came out ok, Quality not great, not bad but just ok, prawn cocktail ok, Pate was tasteless, Mains we waited 1hr 10 mins and we'd asked how long was told 2 mins waited 8 but it came, food was rushed and poor, Thai chicken had dry chicken with no flavour, fish and chips, chips were some cooked some not, fish had large bites of salt in, popcorn chicken was dry to the point our 9 yr old dustbin wouldn't eat it, famous fish pie was ok but Veg was really hard and unlike steamed veg but this was undercooked even for us, didnt even consider pudding as it was now 2 hrs into the meal, I had to ask for the bill then we waited but eventually went to the hatch to pay, 10% service charge which was added was not paid, the couple on the table next to us after 1 hr had to ask to order their starter and when we left which was 1hr 20 into their meal they had nothing, 50% off food offer so yes they were busy but bloody hell staff for it as we used to be good customers until the new owners took over and got shocking food and service so with the 50% off thought ok so let's try again, Big Mistake and Never Again, we are done here, many good places to eat around our area but this is not one of them.Dear Darren M,I hope you feel I gave you an honest response to the same review you posted on Facebook. The aim of the 50% off offer was partly to present our new menu which was very well received; partly to thank previous guests who had supported us and therefore enabled us to complete the much needed redecoration; and partly to stress our processes to see the maximum numbers we can cater for without compromising on service. In return for being part of that fact finding process you got 50% off a great meal as it was described by over 99% of the nigh on 1,000 customers we served this past week.To balance your review, it is important to note that a lot more people came in repeatedly during the week to take advantage of the offer multiple times than complained; and we are extremely grateful to all the guests who came this past week for their goodwill and patience when guests who hadn't booked came in in equal numbers to those who had and caused delays to service on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. This past week, plus a few tweaks which we're now implementing, have demonstrated that we should be confident about our team, decor, menu, pricing, and service; and we very much hope that you will choose to put us to the test again at some point in the future. With sincere apologies that we failed to meet your expectations on this occasion.Regards.The Rdd Lion team.

Its hard to believe that Bar 163 has been in Egham since 1984. More than twenty years on, 163 looks and feels as fresh as ever and continues to attract a varied crowd of young and not so young, professionals and students alike. Originally a bar with fo
I used to live in Egham and Bar 163 was our favourite place to go - that was around 20 years ago. Met my friend their for lunch this week and was so delighted that the standard of food hadn't dropped - if anything it was better. The staff were excellent. Still the same quirky decor and vibe in there which I love. Well done, Bar 163 - I will be back very soon!!That's quite a gap, not sure how we've kept it up, although that could be why I'm feeling so exhausted...Great that you came back, and that you enjoyed it so much, thanks for the wonderful review, hope to see you sooner.
