With limited time at our disposal we ended up here for lunch and were not disappointed. My partner had a burger, but I lashed out on a dish of fried strips of pork with onions, peppers and mushrooms. Absolutely delicious - I still groan at the thought of it.

Bean or caviar, creative haute cuisine in the Restaurant or a light bistro menu in the Tagesbar, homemade specialities in the delicatessen or a bean&beluga-Bratwurst from the barbecue at the Konzertplatz, fine finger food at the Semper Opera, or tradition
As two reservations were cancelled on short notice the three of us enjoyed a âprivate dinnerâ at this superb location. A great minimalistic tastefully decorated ambiente, nice background music, friendly service. You can choose a menu âohneâ, a menu âmitâ (fish and meat) or you can mix â and the options are from 5 to 8 courses. Three small items for welcoming (mousse of sorrell, kohlrabi-sushi-style, essence of woodruff) followed by three greatings from the kitchen (all vegetarian) â and off we go.Having choosen the âwithâ you probably will start with the mackarel, decided then for the gazpacho of almonds (a dream of a cream), come back to a gamba before you move over to the âwithoutâ again: a selection of cimchi. The âwithoutâ guys started with a variation of cucumber, of course followed by the gazpacho, then artichoke in different textures. Crossover for the delicious skate. Unfortunately the nice lady who took our different orders âby heartâ decided for the variation of lamb as main, not for the carrots with morelles which I had decided for.Small mistake â and the âsurprise eggâ as dessert sweetened the whole menu (with a touch of sour mandarine) which was a celebration and preparation of outstanding âart de cuisineâ.The Sauvignon Blanc from Bauer & Sons was a perfect companion for most of the appetizers. The lamb went absolutely fine with the Malbec (Anden Terazzas from Mendosa) served by the glass. This was a real remarkable evening : kudos to the chef and his team.Dear Michael Rmany thanks for taking the time to write your review. We are thrilled that you had a wonderful evening with us and look Forward to seeing you again at bean&Beluga.Best wishes form the entire Team of bean&beluga

The restaurant Carolaschlosschen in Dresden - an oasis of peace! The dreamlike Carolaschlosschen is located in one of the most beautiful parks in Dresden, the Great Garden. A real film set opens up to the viewer when he coming just a couple of steps from
We stopped for a coffee and ice cream during the afternoon to this beautiful restaurant with a wonderful view. You can take the boat on the lake and enjoy the nature, the birds. We waited for 15 min for a waiter to acknowledge us and another 10 for the order. The order also took ages. While we wore waiting for our order, 2 different tables came which had they order taken and delivered within 5 minutes, no joke. Why such a difference in service?Between good ratings, we do also accept critical words. We´re sorry for you not feeling comfortable in our restaurant. However, we would like to assure you that we don´t value or prefer guests differently. Because of various set up times it´s always possible that some guests are served earlier. For example, the cakes and tarts are served faster because they´re prepared at our bar. The sundaes in contrast are prepared in the kitchen and of course on hot days nearly everybody wants an ice, so there could be longer waiting times. Don´t take this statement as an excuse, but we just want to show you that we don´t make differences between our guests. Please visit us again at Carolaschlösschen and be convinced of our service.

The Karl May Bar at Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Dresden is a haven for everyone involved with the culinary arts - and especially with bar culture. The bar's ambience pays tribute to the vibrancy of the metropolises pulsating around the world. Elabor
We were booked to go for dinner but wanted to have a glass of Fizz before so we stumbled across this bar in a very snazzy hotel, the bar is very well presented, old west style with native Indian and cowboy memorabilia... lovely ambience, very nice easy listening music and excellent service by Elin who was very helpful, polite, friendly and sweet. Would definitely recommend visiting at happy hour, they have a seriously extensive drinks menu and offer anything you could possible want! Enjoy your visit :-)

Based on a recommendation from a local we visited this restaurant on a Wednesday evening. The location is a bit outside the city center but the tramway flows through the street of the restaurant and is a convenient means of traffic to reach it. Make sure you take the right stop. Car parking is also available. The front of the building houses the 1 star Michelin restaurant and the rear houses the Deli. We opted for the latter and we were not disappointed. The waiter was friendly and helped us making the right choices. We had a 3 course meal with some real delicacies. Also tasty wines are served and the different courses were a real treat. It was not busy that night so that our servant had ample time for some small talk. It was an enjoyable evening and we surely come again when visiting Dresden another time. Outside at the back of the terrace there is a wide waterfall and the building nextdoor houses a business selling classic cars. So if you come for lunch you can also visit their premises to stroll through some nice oldtimers.

Went for dinner my last night in Dresden. Was hard to find and the parking is across the street in a lot (you need to pay). The restaurant itself was modern, luxurious, clean, and very pleasant. The wait staff were extremely helpful, translating the entire specials of the day board to English. We wound up ordering the following, which were all really, really good: Saibling, Fruhlingssalat, kalbsfilet, and austern. All the ingredients were fresh, the texture profile of the plates complex, and the tastes well balanced. Really a refined and delicious meal.I would recommend business dinners, couples, and special events.

Fabulous restaurant! Itâs located outside the old town, but thereâs a tram stop a 5-minute walk away. The food was superb. The iced lemon yoghurt soup was amazing. So was the amuse bouche, which was a wonderful avocado-infused sour cream concoction served over tomato bread. I loved my pork and octopus (which included a delicious pumpernickel paté topped with a sun-dried tomato glaze). The octopus, by the way, was the best Iâve ever had. My wifeâs guinea fowl was perfectly cooked. The sour cream rhubarb ice cream was heavenly. This was one of the best two or three meal we had during our month-long stay in Germany (and one of the others has a Michelin star). The chef is delightfully creativeâwe think heâs going to be a star himself. We ate outside, on a warm summer evening, which was very pleasant. The wait staff was informative, and steered us to excellent but reasonably priced wines, which paired well with our mains. I couldnât recommend Stresa more highlyâit was a real high point of our trip.
