At here on our last night in Djibouti! Quite the treat! The owner was there to explain the menu items that seem to change daily or weekly. Great seafood and nice personal service. Not cheap, but worth the splurge. There were about 10 of us and we had one nice large table,

Our signature restaurant offers delicious breakfast buffets as well as tantalizing themed lunches and dinner buffets. A'la Carte International and Djiboutian style specialties can also be enjoyed with a view of the Red Sea.
This restaurant primarily serves copious buffets. They have a menu but it is limited. On the menu I recommend the mezze, which has generous portions of good middle eastern dips. I also enjoyed the seafood platter, which also was generous in size. The breakfast buffet is great. For me, daily availability of smoked salmon on the buffet was very nice. There is quite alot of selection on the buffet and an egg/omelet and crepe station. The baked goods are also very good. staff is very welcoming

There are better choices for a dinner in Djibouti, but this place provides a pool as well making it a better lunch choice. Besides the pool side tables there are a indoor restaurant part too. nice seating, professional staff and huge pieces of meat on the menu. A tiny bit more expensive than other restaurants in town compared to what you get. The chocolate cake with vanilla icecream is an excellent desert served here. 30 min preparation, so order early if you want to speed it up a bit.

The place was usually not too crowded and the food was OK to good. I did like the fresh seafood and their créme caramel for dessert was great

Waitress tried to talk us into ordering the most expensive food on the menu by saying some dishes were not available. Instead of shrimp we ordered therefore grilled gambas. First of all, our side dishes came 15 minutes before food so were cold when the food got tgere. Secondly, the gambas didn't arrive but prawns did. When challenged, waitress insisted it was the same. Manager arrived and said they didn't have gambas and the waitress didn't speak English. Even though she spoke very well when it suited her. Drinks arrived well after food when we chased 3 times, and came in extra large glasses for special charge, without asking if we want larger than on the menu. Overall, money centric terrible service, with tables not cleaned and food average at best.

We happened onto this place while exploring the waterfront, and ended up going back for a second night later in the week. Very nice facility, tables on the water all the way around. Excellent service. Food was very good, nicely presented, and priced less than some of the less nice restaurants in the European quarter. The menu has small fish, medium fish, and large fish but they were out of one or more of the sizes both nights we were there. The fish kabobs were delicious.Dear Our Esteemd Customer,Thank you for taking the time to write your comments on your recent experience at Kuriftu Restaurant and Lounge, Djibouti! We are pleased to know that you have had a wonderful experience and enjoyeddine with us and I look forward to your return.Regards,Mahad EguehOperations DirectorKuriftu Restaurant and Lounge, Djibouti.
