best burger we ate in Dali!!nice, clean, welcoming restaurant with English speaking workers and an English manu. The staff is really nice, and the place looks modern, western and cool. They serve the most tasty burgers we had in Dali, very much recommended!!

Café de Jack offers a wide-range of dishes, including Western cuisine, Chinese cuisine, and local cuisine. We ate there for lunch twice, and enjoyed it both times. First day we had their spicy eggplant stew (very spicy), and their spicy beef pizza (not very spicy). Next day, we tried two of their noodle dishes. All dishes were very good, and we were happy with the service, the cuisine and the experience. Menu in English and Chinese.

I went for the Saturday night buffet at La Dolce Vita, which at RMB68 was very good value. A great selection of salads, pasta, pizza and desserts. The quality of ingredients and food was excellent. A very nice garden setting, perfect for warm weather. Friendly English-speaking staff and good service. Highly recommended.

We had lunch here. The menu seems to be mostly Bai food but also has some western dishes. The setting was very pleasant but the food was just okay. The location is very good - on Foreigner Street - and was convenient to our hotel. Because the food is so inexpensive, it's probably worth a try.

Blue Gecko is now open 6 days a week! Come enjoy sitting in our garden and try our fabulous wood-fired pizza, chilled Australian steak and much more.
I loved my food at Blue Gecko. I had an Italian panini, but we went there because the reviews said Mexican food. No bueno, the menu has a bunch of stuff crossed off. Mexican food is no longer served. As were a lot of other offerings. The owner told us she is changing the menu, because some things are difficult to get and expensive to make.Since moving to China, we miss Mexican food. So, even though the food was good, it was a let down. And, even though we were the only ones eating, it took a fairly long time to get our food. But, the service was very friendly and accommodating.Hi There,Sorry for the disappointment! Just a note to say, due to popular demand, we have added quesadillas and enchiladas back to the menu. If you're back in Dali, please give us another chance and we'll give you a free Mexican meal!Tracy
