Reviews on International food in Coburg, Bavaria, Germany. At the top of Bavaria and dating back to at least the 11th century, Coburg sat undiscovered by many late 20th century tourists, surrounded as it was on three sides by the former East Germany. The town’s main attraction, impossible to miss since it overlooks the town, is the 13th century Veste Coburg Castle, one of Germany’s largest and most beautiful. Sometimes called the Franconian Crown, today it’s home to three museums. Reformer Martin Luther, then an outlaw, spent five months here in 1530.

Our drinks we refer mainly from small factories behind which people are who have realized their ideas with passion and a lot of passion. Our food is freshly prepared and all our products are carefully selected. Depending on the season they come in part fr
This is a quiet little place in the centre of Coburg. The concept is simple: a very small menu, one soup, one salad, a fish dish, a meat dish and a vegetarian option. The food is cooked freshly in what appears to be a very small kitchen. A lot of the ingredients seem to be locally sourced and the drinks are at least partly from small artisan producers.Although the dishes on the menu would not have been what I would order elsewhere, our food was tasty and enjoyable. The service was fast and friendly and although we didn't rush, or feel rushed, we were in and out with two courses and coffee in an hour.I would recommend it but make sure you book a table as it is quite small and busy.

In a quite street a little brown wooden door hides a magical gem of a place where meat is expertly transformed into a delicious combination of cheese, bun and onions which are among the many other ingredients each adding value and flavour. Staff are friendly, service is quick and flawless. The atmosphere is just right and you find your feet tapping to the music. Der Käsberger at 8,90⬠is the way to go add the chips at 2,90⬠and your trip to hamburger heaven is complete. To make the trip even sweeter wash it all down a delicious cold dunkel beer at 2,90â¬BIGGEST PROBLEM....They are truly so good and stomach space is sooo limited
