I've been there for breakfast with my girlfriend.. we had omelett, one with chicken and the other vegetarian with different vegetables. Both were really delicious, the bread served was good as well. Also Lao and Nescafe coffee were great and tasty. I had a fruit shake, which tasted fresh. Staff was nice to us and we had a good time there

In Lao, Soum Noum means âto gatherâ. It is this coming together of Lao and Mediterranean cuisines that you will find prominent in our dishes, from traditional Lao dishes to authentic Mediterranean dishes. The restaurant has some of the finest dining in Ch
By far the best dinner we had in Champasak when we were in the area. Food was absolutely delicious. The restaurant offers Western and regional food - we went for the regional option.Service was extremely friendly and they helped us ordering a taxi back to our hotel (which wasn't that straight forward because of a festival at Vat Phou)
This restaurant is in a beautifully restored colonial building more reminiscent of Luang Prabang than Pakse. The menu is not extensive but covers European and Asian food. I only had a spaghetti carbonara this time and it was excellent. The steaks and other meats look appetizing and I'll be back for one of them on my next visit. Each table has a button for calling for service or paying your bill, I'm amazed I've never seen this anywhere else it seems so obvious.

The food here was great but dont use thier ATM service, they convert at their own rate AND still add 6% on top of the cash withdraw amount. you basically end up paying like 12% to 14% to withdraw money, its crazy! When I asked the bar lady why they double charge this way she go upset and told me to somewhere else. I did so and saved money.
It is a nice and warm cafe of the Korean boss. There is a rare coffee machine in Dondet, so you can enjoy a cup of coffee and have a variety of fresh fruit drinks. This cafe has good songs and good atmosphere. You can also enjoy fast food and Korean food,
The restaurant is very beautiful and made entirely from Bamboo, and has comfortable spots to sit. The food is absolutely delicious, with homemade Kimchi and an always smiling boss. He even told me how to do his Kimchi myself, and is in general very friendly and helpful. As dessert his chocolate shakes!Best meal!!

Restaurant & Guesthouse
I liked the view from this place. There were good choices for Thai food and I liked the taste(I think the owner is a Thai). But some of the reviews - "Best food in Laos" are definitely overrated, or exaggerated.

1st fish restaurant in Don Det.
At the Boathouse you will find excellent food, great friendly people (bountip and mike) and if you want to stay nice bungalows as well.Bountip is an excellent cook and the catfish with potato-mash is not typical loa-food but taste wounderful. It's a great relaxing place and i always love to stay here for a few days.
