This restaurant gets the 4 stars largely because of its location and service. The food (mainly seafood) is very fresh and presentation pleasing. What disappoints is the price which is massively inflated since it is part of the Leela hotel. Of course you do expect to pay more but we paid double for an equivalent meal at the Fishermanâs Wharf (a walk away and alongside the river) and that was also superb.

A privately run international cuisine, specializing in Russian and some amazing grilled meats and seafood, set in a quite garden setting.
I must admit that traditional Indian or Goan food is not my favourite (nor my kids'), so we were glad to find Temple Tree, that served tasty homelike food - we tried beef and chicken burgers (cutlets), beef steak and seafood pasta. While we waited our food, I had a nice chat with the owner and took a look at the jewellery shop - very beautiful work. So overall - it was a nice dinner.

We spent 2 weeks in Cavelossim and tried many of the restaurants on the beach and near our hotel the Haathi Royal. The Golden Heart became our favourite, excellent tasty Indian and Goan food made with care and brilliantly spiced and the Chicken 65 is just lovely! Great value and service to. Good bar and snacks as well if you just want a drink and nibble!

A nice atmosphere in the restaurant and pleasant friendly staff. The main negative for me were the chairs. They are too straight and when you sit in them I had a tendency to lean forward. Okay for a meal but I could not sit there for a longer drink or to relax. We had several meals in this bar and the food overall was ok. Nothing outstanding but nothing bad. My lasting memory of this place was a really nice prawn cocktail starter. Took me right back to the 70s. Also enjoyed their chicken tandoori.

Just returned from a 2 week holiday to Goa, we came across Vernonâs as we were looking for a quieter beach shack and this place is exactly that, comfortable free sunloungers, amazing food and friendly staff whom we must thank again for finding our safety deposit key in the sand after it fell out a bag! Being at the quieter end of the beach we were not hassled by an endless stream of people trying to sell us trinkets, the ladies who did were friendly and no hard sell. Did I mention how fab the food is here? Missing it already! Thank you once again for making our holiday a relaxing one, definitely recommend a visit to this place.

Set on the beautiful beach of Mobor, just outside Cavelossim, beachside of holiday inn. Fantastic views of the Arabian ocean. Watch sunset from the comfort of the shack or dip your toes into the warm sea. All diets catered for, just tell the waiter your n
We ate at Betty's Place twice on our recent visit to Cavelossim. On our first visit I had the red snapper in garlic butter and my partner had the chicken breast stuffed with cheese. Both were accompanied by delicious rosemary roast potatoes and vegetables. As always the food was accompanied by a couple of Betty's special cocktails. The food was delicious and it was a lovely evening sitting in the garden at Bettyâs Place. On our second visit we both had the stuffed chicken - two succulent chicken breasts stuffed with cheese - I struggled to finish mine. I've been visiting Betty's for over 10 years and it's still my favourite restaurant in Cavelossim.

Visited this place on a warm October afternoon with my family and one another. Had visited this place purely basis it's reputation and unlike a lot of other places, the Fisherman's Wharf does justice to itself. Everything we ordered was just perfect in terms of both quality and quantity. On top of it the service was quick and the staff pretty friendly. We tied the following:1. Chicken Mexicano2. Drums of Heaven3. Chicken Munchow Soup4. Chicken Wanton Soup5. Chicken Cafreal6. Goan Sanna (Rice Cake)7. Mocktail - Midnight in Movie, No Ice Drink and Monkeyboy CosmosThe best part is that the food doesn't burn a hole in the pocket. We paid less than 4K for all this and the rotis. So totally worth the money. If you are in Goa, don't miss this place at all.Dear Guest,It pleases us immensely that you had such a great experience at The Fishermanâs wharf. We can only but assure you that it will get better when you come by again.Thank you for dining with us. We hope to see you soon.
