Find out what International restaurants to try in Burlington. Vermont's largest and perhaps most cosmopolitan city, Burlington beckons with the perfect blend of old New England charm, arts, culture and nature. Located on the shores of Lake Champlain, between the Adirondack and Green Mountains, Burlington is one of those places you can't help but fall in love with. During the spring and summer, the streets come alive with festivals and outdoor concerts. The picnic benches, playground and bike paths of Leddy Park are filled with warm weather revelers, and opportunities to swim, fish or just kick back on the beach abound. In the fall, the Burlington Bike Path is bustling with leaf peepers who come to view the vibrant autumn colors. In winter, lace up your ice skates and head to the Paquette Arena or grab your skis and head to any of the nearby resorts. Church Street Marketplace, with its early 1900s architecture, great restaurants, live entertainment, one-of-a-kind shops and well-known stores, is the focal point of the downtown area. Anytime of the year is a good time for chocolate. Be sure to stop by Lake Champlain Chocolates for a tour and taste.

Daily Planet has been a staple in Burlington, VT since 1982. Known & loved for their creative, award winning cocktails and innovative, local cuisine by locals and visitors alike. The restaurant offers something for everyone... whether you're looking to gr
Tried to get into another restaurant, no luck. My sons suggested Daily Planet. It is a good go to restaurant. When you walk in, there is a first come, first serve bar on the right, with a bar food menu. ON the left is a full serve dining room with a different seating area. WE chose the bar scene, it was fun. I had the Ahi Tuna tatare with a spicy aoli on top. It was quite tasty and unique. One of my sons had the local poutine dish , also very good.

It's attached to Radio Bean Cafe.
What's not to love? A zillion options--international menu, vegan and veg options, outstanding Ethiopian food on Tuesday nights, baller brunch, helpful service, relaxed bohemian vibe, good people watching in the restaurant and on the street.

We visited Butch and Babe's for the first time, on a whim as we were driving past. It looked fun and low-key. We took the bunch of people sitting at the outside tables as a good sign. The place has an unpretentious menu with twists on traditional American things like hot dogs and Mac and cheese. We enjoyed the two hot dogs and fries combo for $13.00 and the cheddar bacon ranch dip with homemade chips. There were plenty of good sounding dishes on the menu and prices seemed pretty reasonable. Butch and Babe's is not cheap eats, but is not too expensive. We thought the place had a clean, modern atmosphere and the service was quite good too. I think I'll be going back there and I recommend Butch and Babe's to anyone looking for a good meal.

This is not your typical locale. Booths, tables, graffiti art, weird menu. It's all part of the scene and it actually works. The service was good. The beer selections were good. The atmosphere was energetic. The food was quite varied and we shared a ton of appetizers and a couple entrees. We enjoyed our meal a lot. Later, we slipped into a local acoustic/vocal band next door for a reasonable entry price. It was a great time. Parking is alongside Pine Street. Please see my pictures for more details. I only captured the shared appetizers... the rest was delicious, too.

This is a small, quiet, intimate venue with no more than 12 tables - think of a local, hidden spot tucked away from the world. The dark wood, and white tablecloths create an elegant but non-pretentious atmosphere. The long wooden, antique bar is available for seating, but Iâve yet to see anyone enjoy it. The service is attentive without being fussy. The food is delicious, I had steaks each time and was pleased. The lamb looked delicious. They serve a varieties of wines by the glass, and the wine menu is modest but offers lovely choices. Both times I was a single, but didnât feel out of place. This restaurant is tucked back off the street, but is worth finding!Due to its small venue, especially on weekends, I would recommend a reservation.I am so happy I stumbled upon it and will return!
