Many reviewers rave about Miguelina's clean bathrooms (mouthwash included). But for us it's the alfajor that we will miss most. The texture is simply out of this world while the dulce de leche is perfectly smooth and not overly sweet (perhaps better than Argentina's). Even old-fashioned classics like raisin cookies and palmiers are divine! So make sure you stop there on the way from Santo Domingo to Santiago de los Cabelleros or the north coast.

Its an amazing place with a spectacular view, the temperature is great and went the sun goes down it gets cold. The attentions are supperb from the staff, prices are moderate adn the food is very good. Good quality meats and great beers and wines.

The restaurant is next to Tipico Bonao. It is very stylish. Looks like a place that will do good in Italy or France! If I would host a party or would like to impress a girl I will do it here.. Compared to other restaurants in Bonao it is not very local although locals do come here. Service was good. They have all kinds of food mainly international and Italian. Meat I had was great. Dessert was quiet a lot so you can easily order one plate and share with someone else. Great Prosciutto ham as apetizer. Price is decent for the quality that you get. I will come back here!
