We came here based on a localâs recommendation and it was very good. We are outside on the terrace overlooking the port and the market. Upon the owners recommendation I took the king prawns freshly caught. It was delicious. Simple but delicious. We had the octopus tartare and it was very fresh and delicious as well. Grilled calamari was well cooked , melting in our mouth and seasoned to perfection. I would have given you a 5* review but the fact that the lobster was alive in a see trough box in front of me during my lunch, disturbed me. I am obviously not vegan but it was disturbing to have that poor little lobster suffer in front me. I donât want to see that while I have lunch. Also his legs were sticking out of the box and everything was going through it and Iâm sure it hurt him. I observed the reaction of the people walking by and a lot of them had the same reaction as me. Itâs maybe better to keep it behind closed doors instead of showing it off.

La Nostra Padrona Restaurant is perfect for anyone seeking a dining experience to remember, whether itâs a relaxing lunch or lavish dinner, our welcome is always warm. . Set right in the heart of Maltaâs main fishing village, Marsaxlokk , La Nostra Padron
We were lucky and got the last table for lunch on Sunday, when Marsaxlokk is manic with people strolling around the large market. The restaurant was very busy and this showed in the service, with our vegetables arriving when we were well into the meal.My wife had grilled calamari that was very good and our friend polished the plate of her saffron seafood risotto. I had linguine alla vongole that was very tasty; the portion size was too large for me to cope with.

We are situated in a prime location overlooking the picturesque bay of Saint Georges bay within Birzebbugia. We have large open air terraces with a lower terrace at street level (pedestrian zone) and a higher terrace above street level. We are approx 5 mi
I have not visited this restaurant for some years but the food is good and it is located opposite St. George's bay BBugia. It took us more than a couple of minutes for a waiter to clear our table, bring us a menu and take an order. I understand that 8pm is the peak time on a Sunday night. If there are 100 patrons seating at the same time, I understand that there must be some minutes delay, however if you are not equipped to cater for such amount of people, you have to get more staff .It took us some time to catch the waiter/waitress attention both to order food and a coffee. We did not bother to order a desert. The service must be improved.
