A little hidden away between the new buildings on the NRE site south of the Dommel , the monumental main hall of the old gas works has been converted into a large but elegant restaurant in post-industrial style with seating both inside and outside. Service was a little slow for lunch but it was worth waiting for. An interesting menu with some traditional dishes with more imagination and attention to detail than we generally get.

Just had a fantastic dinner in de Lindehof with friends. Wonderful food amazing starters and just awesome service. We had the 6 course dinner which was simply grwat. How many different flavours can you add in one dish? The plates itself were small works of art served on wonderful porselain. The serving staff was very professional they just saw everything. The flow from the kitchen to the table was smooth....we never had to wait too long but we also didnt have the feeling the things were rushed. Great pace. If possible you should go here. Reservation might be necessary...we will be back for sure.

A very busy fully booked restaurant on the 2nd day of Christmas and still able to do an a la carte menu. We did not go for that and took the 'surprise' menu. There was a mix of fish and meat but also the choise to not like one or the other. With 3 at our table, one wanted wish, the other only meat and the third person took the mix. This was NO problem or them. We had dinner at a nice speed and it was good too. Nice atmosphere in a 'historic' kind of place.

I was invited for diner in this hotel restaurant. The NH hotel has a very moderate reputation, so I expected not much. But it was not too bad. The food was ok, not excellent, but for sure not tasteless. It was nicely served. The atmosphere of the restaurant is ok Service is good. Conclusion: Not a b ad choice when you stay in this hotel.

Again proprietor Jan van Moosdijk has served us a well balance, delightful and delicious afternoon Xmas lunch. The beautiful section of wines combined with the different and creatively presented dishes made the afternoon a special and very tasteful experience.Together with the friendly and forthcoming staff, "The Rooise Boerderij " is a real treat for any food and wine loving customer.

A sunny Saturday afternoon in Best, so decided to call in at this "Water Park". The Sunrise Beachclub is part of a larger water and pleasure park on the outskirts of Best. There is a large clubhouse in front of which is a large terrace with lots of tables & chairs. In front of this is a beach area with lots of sun loungers on the sand next to the water of the lake. We had a snack lunch of a Ham/Cheese toastie and Krockets with a rustic bread. Both tasty but to be honest expensive for what they were. 7 e & 8.50 e. A bitter lemon @2.40 e and glass of wine @ 3.75 e completed our lunch. With 2 more glasses of wine the bill was 25.30 E. Having just returned from Spain the day before where this would probably have cost no more than 12-15 E, it seemed expensive. Service was good.

We always love to go to this place. It is classical dining at it's best. Not for a quick supper though. An evening filling experience is what you will get. Really nice to go their with friends because they only have round tables. Make sure to have a reservation, this place is popular.

Last week we had dinner here with former colleagues. The formula is a fixed price for various dinner courses. Each course has a choice of 3 small dishes. We made it to the 4th course and for dessert some opted for a nice coffee and the majority chose the chef's dessert. Everything was very tasteful and nicely presented. Staff very wellcoming, helpful and friendly. Will be back with my husband!

I just wish the food was as delicious as the inside decor is charming and cosy. The menu is all over the place and is pretentious without delivering. Some weird combinations. If this place were to do one or two classic things really really well and get a rep for it - it could be one of the best places in Eindhoven.
