Mit dem Gasthof Schrage verbindet mich eine langjährige Freundschaft. Dort habe ich mein erstes Bier getrunken und mein erstes "plattes Kotelett" â übrigens früher eine Institution in Wellingholzhausen â gegessen.Mittlerweile hat der Junior den Betrieb übernommen und gemeinsam mit seiner Frau deutlich modernisiert. Nicht, dass es vorher schlecht war. Jetzt ist es nur alles etwas schlanker und Gesundheitsbewusster â eben moderner.Das neue Konzept schlieÃt ein, dass es auch hier und da besondere Aktionen gibt. So wurde letzten Sonntag der Smoker angeworfen und eine breite Palette allerlei Fleischiges und Fischiges aufgelegt. Das war wieder ein guter Grund diese sympathische "Dorfgaststätte mit Blick über den Tellerrand" wieder mal zu besuchen,

We were so positively surprised by this hotel that we stumbled upon. Large, very tastefully decorated rooms with a work-space area and (for some rooms) a balcony. What delighted us the most was the evening meal which held a very high standard, both tasteful and lovely presented. A great hotel which we would like to visit again!

Wohl die beste Location für einen Sommerabend im Freien. Traumhafte Lage etwas Abseits des Ortskerns. Hier kann man den Sommer genieÃen. Die Parkvilla hat eine groÃe Cocktailkarte mit annehmbaren Preisen, eine Speisekarte, die Appetit macht und eine Saisonkarte mit frischen Ergänzungen. Die Bedienungen sind aufmerksam, das Essen gut und Iideenreich. Unsere Empfehlung für Versmold.

This is a really nice quaint restaurant and I have been here twice now. The retro decorations create a fun ambiance, and the service is friendly and helpful. The food is also great but since this is a small restaurant, please take the time to enjoy the company you are spending time with, the food takes a bit longer here. I have had the Sylter Chicken and the Lamb, both were excellently prepared. However, I do think that they should offer either a special dish or change up their menu, to encourage people to come more often. They do not have a high chair for young children, so this restaurant is probably suitable for those with older children.

I ate here one night during a sales conference in Versmold together with some colleagues. We were looking for a place to eat and we ran into this nice place, called Memic (Yugoslavian). All my friends, including me, ate very good (try the beef stake, it was the best). We drank bear from fuss :-). The service was also very good. I also saw that a lot of local people were coming to eat here, that means in this place all the time you eat well. Try it. it worth the money! Enjoy!

Het eten was goed en voldoende, maar de prijzen hoog voor een toch doordeweekse kwaliteit. Ook de drank tikte goed aan. Het decor is prachtig en men wil de glorie van vroeger hoog houden, maar met een minimum aan personeel - de receptioniste moest mee helpen opdienen- kan men die schijn niet ophouden. Ik had de indruk dat er laatst wel enkele veranderingen geweest waren, want blijkbaar was ook de naam van het restaurant veranderd. En van de vernieuwing waarvan men in de andere beoordelingen sprak, heb ik weinig gemerkt. Een andere chef misschien ?
