Food was okay, service was appalling. My partner's starter was forgotten. They had run out of the wine, about two of the dishes. We weren't asked if we wanted water and the staff simply seemed vague. Again connected to a hotel, but after all of these reviews, should have been way better. All in all, much better places to eat in Weimar,

We ate here twice. One a buffet where everything was very good. The staff the first time spoke okay English. The second time we used the menu which they do not have in English and the waitress spoke little to no English. We took a guess on the menu, which was very large, but we got two excellent meals. The wife got the goulash, and I had the veal snetzel. Worth going back. Love the old time "cellar" feeling of the building which is part of the Old Town Hall.

Tucked away in a side street just metres from the Goethehaus on the Frauenplan Square, this restaurant specialises in wholesome, largely vegetarian dishes. We had the dish of the day (Tagesgericht) which was great value at 7.50 euros and included a bowl of salad from the extensive salad bar. The actual dish was smoked salmon on a kind of rösti base, nicely garnished. The soft drinks are reasonably priced, and a good meal was had for a total of just 9.70 euros. Recommended.

We found this lovely little place in Jena while dropping our son off to start Uni, the whole experience was fab, the chef came out to check our order, when the food came it looked great and the taste was to die for! melt in the mouth pulled beef. The chef even brought me out some more, he asked us about our visit and we ended our night sharing a local drink with him, what a great restaurant, you MUST pay this place a visit, definitely would go back,

Regionale und saisonale Frischküche mit Herz . We cook fresh and lokal but for all with Heart & Passion :D
We visited here with a large group on an early evening (with reservations). We had fun sitting outside on the forecourt and the drinks were welcome after a long walk in the heat. However, it was all self service and with the food prices I think it was overpriced by a considerable margin specially since the food, was good, but was nothing special really. We had fun though.

Fine ambience and culinary delights To fill every heartâs desire...Cultivated hospitality in Auerstedt has reached new culinary heights. Itâs name? "Reinhardtâs im Schloss"! In the Museum Café and Restaurant, Kati and Frank Reinhardt enliven the renovated

This is the special occasion restaurant in Jena. Quite good. Vegetarians in particular will be pleased with the options, and I am sure the Indian-inspired vegetarian dishes on the menu (surprising) are better than youâd get at the very poorly-reviewed Indian restaurant in Jena. We loved our meal. Our server was dicey on the English but that was OK as one of us spoke German.
