Visited this quirky little bar for some Mexican after the menu offered vegetarian / vegan options to suit my fussy daughter. But wow - everything was fresh, delicious and very reasonably priced. The menu is limited but we tried nearly every item and they were all fabulous! Plus a groovy bar atmosphere / hole in the wall and friendly staff. Don’t miss this one - its awesome!!!!!

休日のランチ訪問。阪神尼崎駅から北西へ徒歩5分程度、国道二号線の直ぐ北側にあります。駐車場は有料ですが周辺に沢山あって便利ですし、お店の直ぐ南側にも1時間200円の駐車場があります。店内はレトロな洋食屋さんの雰囲気です。一階はカウンター席中心、二階は全席テーブル席です。客層は、年輩の方、ファミリー等、地元客らしき人が多く、地元では結構認知されてるようです。休日でも一平ランチや日替りランチ等お得なメニューがあります。因みに、本日の一平ランチのメインは海老フライとコロッケ、日替りランチはチキンカツと白身魚のフライです。日替りランチとオムライスをオーダー。日替りランチは昔懐かしい金属のプレートにメインとキャベツの千切り、ハム、オムレツチックな卵焼き、ポテトサラダ、スパゲティが添えられ、これらにライスが付きます。オムライスはサラダの小鉢が付いてます。どちらも懐かしい味で、なかなか美味しいですし、お腹もいっぱいになりましたので、コスパは良い方だと思いますよ。

めっちゃリーズナブルだけど美味しい辛味チキンが大好きすぎて絶対に頼みます！キャベツのアンチョビソテーもいい塩梅で好きですお酒は飲まないですがお酒も安い！

While the food at World Buffet was good many customers from the United States may find the variety of choices to be lacking compared to the buffets in their home towns. The management obviously doesn't expect many foreign guests and it shows with the lack of English on the signage above each food available as well as the hand out that they give each customer (Google Translate seems to make it out that the restaurant reserves the right to charge an extra fee for every gram of food wasted, though I doubt that they would actually enforce it).The pricing is gender based with men paying 1200 yen for a weekday lunch or dinner compared to women paying 1000 yen (1500 and 1200 on weekends).The food was interesting though some seemingly normal western items occasionally had an unusual or surprise ingredient to make it a little more Japanese. I can't remember any specific examples but it didn't dampen my appetite any.My only real disappointment came from the selection of drinks. There was coffee, tea, juice and "flavored waters" but no soda fountain or milk that I could find.It seems that customers clear their own tables of dishes and take them to a specific spot while the staff wipes the tables down after you finish your meal. Other than the clerk taking your money at the entrance the only other staff interaction was with the dessert chef when he stood on the floor with a fresh batch of "shu cream" while people lined up for them.I would recommend this restaurant for a foreign resident who may be homesick for some western style food other than a pizza or burger, but tourists may rather go to a Japanese style restaurant for some sushi or gyudon.
