This is a popular restaurant among locals and expat residents, if one wishes to be a traveler and not a tourist
I visited garden paradise for dinner twice during a stay in Addis, the food was good, tried the bbq chicken and it was well done, they do tend to overcook and brown their fries, not sure if this is a style. The lamb tibs are also very tasty and would recommend them. There's option to sit close to the balcony and inside dining if you wish.

secluded from the noise and dust of bole road, the place has a semi outdoor dining space that is well furnished. The food is very goood. The price is a bit expensive. but good for occasional dining. If you have a Sheba miles account, you will get reward miles for every 500 birr that you spend there.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The hummus I would not recommend. But the stuffed chicken breast (stuffed with vegetables and cheese) was delicious. I think you just have to find their strong suits. I would try again.Dear Thank you for trying our food, and glad you like our famous dish âStuffed Chickenâ I would like you to try the hummus again if you can.I am just surprised it was not to your liking. Not sure what exactly went wrong with the hummus you ordered but please try it again. And let me know...â[email protected]â.

This is the best taste that i can found in AddisAbaba. Kebap, aparatives, Turkish pizza and of course the Turkish Tea was perfect. The owner Mr. Mehmet is a very polite person. The prices are a bit expensive for Ethiopia conditions but normal for this good tastes. Hope to come again in my next visit.

Excellent spot to drop in for lunch or dinner. The coffee is excellent, in particular the macchiato which you can have extra strong! I am in love with the falafel wrap and the shawarma (shawarma only available on certain days at this location as the expert moves between bole and kazanches limetree locations). We love the cool atmosphere and the high table with stools. Located just behind the boston day spa building on bole.

Love this place, come here often with friends when visiting Addis. Long, collective tables make for festive, party atmosphere. Excellent draft beer, food OK but not the highlight.

A feast for the senses awaits diners in this delightful Summerfields Restaurant at the Sheraton Addis Hotel, offering delectable a la carte dining, as well as sumptuous buffets featuring international dishes and tempting Ethiopian specialities.
Summerfields Restaurant has received some well deserved accolades. The large sunroom-like setting bespeaks comfort. The Ethiopian spiced chicken soup was a delicious start. The Nile perch was grilled to perfection, and the accompanying mixed vegetables were just tender. The rolls were fine when dipped in the soup, but otherwise were dry, not unexpected with the low humidity this time of year. Servers were friendly and prompt in taking my order and bringing the food. After that I was left on my own with no one asking if I needed coffee or dessert. I could have walked out without paying, and no one would have noticed. Finally I stood up and a server in another section noticed. Even the host was not at his station when I left. At any rate, I came for the food and in that regard was happy with both taste and presentation.

Tucked away on the 5th floor of an office block is Diplomat. As a first time visitor with no reservation, I was warmly and genuinely welcomed by the Manager, Addis (easy name to remember here!). A healthy, complimentary salad bar, then a good choice of fish, chicken and meat, as well as local Ethiopian dishes. Remember that landlocked Ethiopia is reliant on daily supplies of fresh produce from abroad, and donât blame them if a dish or 2 is unavailable. Super friendly service, and well priced. Go and meet Addis. You wonât be disappointed.Dear Airportroamer,We are so grateful for your amazing feedback! So glad you enjoyed your self at our restaurant and that you were so happy with the service and the staff. And we also like to thank you for acknowledging the manager hope you come back soon.

-Original Ethiopian Arts, paintings and crafts -More than 70 Artists displays their art works -Art framing & Packaging. -Delicious Italian meal & Wine Bar.
My wife and I have been in Africa for the past two weeks. First Joburg and now Addis with a short stop in Lalibela. At each turn we search for art galleries that did not cater to the âlatestâ art phenomenon. We probably toured more than a dozen art galleries. After 3 cities and two Countries, we found Makush. This is the only place that we purchased art work. First and foremost the curator / director Nati was more than helpful. He explained who the various artist were and how they came to his gallery. He had several works from each artist, which allows you to really dive into the vision of the artist. Secondly, Nati was just super nice and accommodating. I believe that great customer service is about the little things; Nati clearly understand it. Lastly, his gallery is a place for rising stars and accomplished artists alike. His selection is extensive, and the various artists styles make his gallery a cornucopia of art. Thereâs no way you walk out without buying art. On a personal note, we left our art in the airport. We frantically contacted Nati, who assisted us by contacting our main contact with Ethiopian air. He didnât have to, but he did; Our artwork was found and delivered to us (in Seycelles) days later. I donât know how many art galleries would have helped us. In short Makush is the place to be. The prices are fair, the art and food are amazing, and Nati is one of a kind! Visiting His shop is right up there with Holy Trinity church.
