Had a very enjoyable meal last night with a special 8-course Michelin meal at the Soleil, The Mulia in Bali. We started with cocktails and canapés at the beach, and then moved to the restaurant for a marvellous meal featuring a range of specialities .... including interesting raw fish; a tomato and cheese dish; crackers with Balinese Sambal, sweet potato, and king crab; barramundi with puttanesca sauce; a delightful mushroom risotto; a mouthwatering medium-rare beef tenderloin with anchovy mayonnaise; lobster with peanut coconut bisque sauce (pictured to show the portion sizes and presentation); and two delightful sweets. Thankfully, all portions were small, but the range of tastes fantastic. All washed down with a good French Bordeaux. Great experience! Marvellous service, and we were seated alongside a Russian couple .... very enjoyable and interesting

This was one of the highlights of our travel experience in Nusa Dua, Bali. Everything was perfect - the service impeccable, the food delicious and the ambiance intimate and romantic. The local cuisine was at a very high level, made with fresh ingredients. The dance performances were also at a very high level. It was a wonderful way to experience Balinese culture. I fully agree with the majority of previous positive reviews. This is a gem on the beach. We only had sates and fish and chips but both were very tasty and prices of both food and drink incredibly reasonable. The young waiting staff were cheerful, chatty and very efficient. Strongly recommend.

We had such a wonderful Sunday brunch at Boneka Restaurant. Starting with the cocktails out on the terrace and then into the restaurant for the most amazing selection of dishes, it was wonderful. The staff were extremely friendly and explained all the different options for selecting our dishes. The band played great music, very appropriate for a brunch and just at the right volume. The food was excellent with plenty of choice . All of the staff were attentive to my wife and I and we had especially good service from our server who was Yanti. She went out of her way to make our evening special. This was our second meal there and our previous server was Dewi who also made our evening excellent. Well done Mr Bob!

Decided to try out Warung Mufu after reading reviews on Google Maps. I also like to eat satay a lot and was thrilled to know that they serve it. The first night was really good, the satay was done just right, excellent marination, tender and juicy meat with nice little charred bits. The rice and sides were okay too. The owner was really friendly and I was impressed. The meal including a drink was about 180000 IDR.Thus I decided to go back again on the second night before flying back home. Hoping to wrap up the meal. The chef was conducting a cooking lesson when I visited. I ordered the same Mixed Satay Set and a drink as usual. This time round it was disappointingly bad. The chicken satay was not thoroughly cooked, it was cold inside and raw while the pork satay was barely cooked too. I highlighted to the waiter and he didn't seemed to think it was an issue and asked if I wanted to be cooked. In the end, the waiter took the remaining chicken satay including a half-eaten stick to grill and served it back to me.While I hope to recommend the restaurant for its good food, it is difficult to not take the subpar attitude and inconsistency on the second night into consideration.

We should have learned our lessen after stopping in here for a cold fruit juice one day. Service extremely slow and staff not sure about items on menu. We did not learn and went back one night for dinner. Again, service was terrible and the food was even worse. Out of 7 meals only 2 were eaten. We then had to wait around 10 minutes for the bill while they entered everything manually into a computer. Would not recommend.
