The quality of the food is always maintained since day 1 until today. The bast part about Ayam Penyet is their SAMBAL! Anyone who loves spicy food must come and try it, at least twice.

Nothing to shout about. The sambal is not spicy enough. If you ask for more sambal, they will charge you for it.

Very popular place amongst the locals because the restaurant serves delicious food accompanied by the most delicious spicy sambal belacan. Service was quick. You can order from the menu or go to the buffet to select your choice of food. The service was quick. It is an open air restaurant with lots of ceiling fans keeping the place cool. Prices are slightly on the high side. But i believe it's worth the price.

What more can you all for? There are many stalls there selling local fares and seafood. It is not a touristy place. Loads of locals there, jogging, walling their dogs, children cycling etc. The food is really good. We went there twice, first time during dinner (about 5.30pm) & people were streaming in. Of you are lucky, you will probably be able to catch sine amazing sunsets! 2nd time we went during lunch and it was closed. So I assume that they are open only for dinner. We just had a snack of Midin (Ferns) cooked with sambal belacan. As can be seen from my pic, my mat salleh friend totally loved it! Oh and I did too. Definitely a really good bet for a great dinner in Miri.

very interesting in that they give you a menu and a blank page to write your own orders, maybe they had to many mistakes taking place. we ordered 1/2 fried chicken which was served cold, noodles were barely edible, the wontons were ok, there was one attentive server in the whole place but not enough to warrant a second visit
