Things to do in Jepara
Recommended by a friend, we decided to try the mie bandung in Jepara. Location is in downtown. So it is relatively easy to find. We looked at the menu. Turned out, this place serves more than mie Bandung. Several items of Chinese and Western food are written on the menu. But we just ordered the mie bandung. Well, the taste is pretty good. Cooking time is ok. On the slow side. But overall, I would still rate it as good. Will come back again, if my craving for noodles arises.
This place is popular among the locals to grab a quick morning breakfast. It's always packed in the morning and often there's long queue while the stall is not so big, so you have to finish your meal in a short time. That's why I prefer to order takeaway.I'd give 4 stars for the food and 2,5 stars for the place and service.

We are staying at the Elim Hotel in Jepara currently and enjoying our stay. The staff, particularly Pak Thomas have been super-helpful. The room is basic, but clean. All rooms seem to have twin beds but they can be put together. For the price, location and friendliness of the staff, I recommend Elim Hotel. We have only had breakfast and snacks at the hotel which is in a lovely outdoor setting. If we come to Jepara, which is a very laid back, very clean and friendly town, we will stay at the Elim Hotel again.
The place was quite spacious & well designed, the service was friendly, the f&b tasted ok with reasonable price.

Located near Bandengan beach. Pool activities, different thematic areas, smoking and non smoking areas, meeting room, pool parties, herbal healthy drinks corner...
Went for lunch with wife and friends. I ordered fried rice with mutton, which wasn't too bad. My wife had squids, which she didn't quite like. Our friend had fettuccine, which was ok. Food aside, the place is clean and the service is good enough. As typical of smaller town, you need to hv patience while waiting for your orders to be served. Overall, one of the good places to meet with friends.

after a full day of work, it was nice to see a place like this. the view was good. the decor was kept simple but nice. outdoor seating was great. good selection of indonesian food. will definitely go back again.
our bussines base in restaurant, we serve with good people, Our dishes among others are seafood, western, healthy food, fresh food, fresh summer drink. our place is beautiful.. cause we give exotic panorama golden sunset in jepara jawaw tengah indonesia
Sit, quietly and gaze upon the sun as it sets, total serenity if the restaurant is not crowded. Very well landscaped with a swimming pool at Rp 30,000 to swim in the pool, sets between the bar and the restaurant. Food is cheap, mainly western food and seafood, known for the kurita (octopus) barbeque. Did not try it as not a fan of Octopus. A must go if you are Jepara, would definitely come back again just for setting and beauty of the sea.........
We ordered Pindang Serani (Snapper Fish soup), Grilled Ribs, Original Fried Tofu, Fried Tofu with vegetables filled and Maribu Fried Rice. Pindang Serani was good since I like spicy food, if you are not fond of chili better not to try it they use orange red chili. Their Grilled Ribs was awesome for us and also you get the soup (usually get this if order ribs soup). As for the Maribu fried rice, nothing special... We rather choose the fried original tofu then fried filled tofu even though the original one taste standard...

The open wall restaurant and bar is located right on the sandy beach in Teluk Awur, overlooking the Jepara Bay. Choose from our extensive a la carte menu, including Mediterranean and Italian dishes as well as all the traditional Western and Indonesian one
Using google map, we hv no difficulty in reaching our destination. The place is typical of european owned restos in tropical countries. Clean and well-maintained. Lots of expats after dusk. We ordered pizza and burger. Not bad at all. Staff is friendly too! Certainly, this is one place I would recommend in the town of Jepara.
