I got reference about this restaurant through browsing. It was famous for udang galah bakar madu or honey grilled prawn, oseng kangkung/genjer ( stir fried nails prone/water spinach), grilled Nila fish and also the gurame fish soup.We loved the grilled prawn and stir fried vegetable. The grilled fish should be very nice too but the fish were too small, so we could not enjoy it more. The fish soup is OK, but too many herb for me.Unfortunately, we arrived at around 7 pm, the surrounding were so dark, so we could not enjoy the scenery and we are the only one who had dinner at that time.
This is a great place to relax and enjoy some delicious food. Lots of seating options, including low tables for children. Watching the life across the rice paddies is good entertainment. Plenty of art to look at as well.
this place is the place where you want to taste local food with "make sense" price. i am a student, the foods are very affordable and delicious. but it takes a little bit long time to get your order. overall, this place is good

One of the restaurant in Plataran Heritage, also the one serving breakfast with mostly Indonesian food. Good quality, fresh ingredients and tasty. Start with Jamu (javanese herbal drinks) then bubur ayam (chicken porridge) and telor ceplok (fried eggs). There were of course many more choices. Good service and staffs.Dear Mr/s. On the way to Borobudur Temple, you can find this Resto on the right side. The sign is quite clear, so that you can directly across the road. They have Western and Indonesian Cuisine with various dessert and drinks. One thing that I like from this resto is they have package menu for group, complete with the coffee or tea and slices of fruit. This time we choose the package for minimum 2 pax, and it is a lot for three of us. We are very satisfied. It contains: steam rice, chicken opor, beef blackpepper, mix vegetables, sweet an sour fish, sliced fresh fruit and coffee. And it is only 100,000 IDR, very reasonable.Beside the yummy menu, I like to be here. I can enjoy our lunch with bossas music in the background, while winds playing at the bamboos tree. So nice and relax. This afternoon, I found a place to hide out, that make us happy.

The Restaurant, with a silver-leaf ceiling and views of Borobudur and volcanoes, serves Indonesian and Western cuisine
had 5 breakfasts and 2 dinners here: the service is wonderful. what stood out:-breakfast was super healthy starting with jamu, assortment of cereals and/or fruits, pastry basket, before starting on the hot dishes.-after commenting on the delicious French toast, the chef immediately typed it out and printed it for us. -bubur ayam was exceptional: rice porridge drowned in a delicate spiced chicken consommé with all the usual trimmings (shredded chicken, fried onions).during tea, a lovely elderly lady served us hot jamu (herbal tea) with a savoury and a sweet snack.

Stayed at the resort for 3 nights and didn't feel the need to eat anywhere else, even though we had our own transport and could travel elsewhere. Stuck to the Indonesian menu, although I had a chicken sandwich for lunch one day. Unlimited drinking water with meals was appreciated. If staying elsewhere, this would be a good choice if you feel like a change.
