I love buffet for lunch and dinner. Lots of selections for Indian meal lover. But Goats curry has bones in it so you must extra caution when you eat! Many salad to go. Many veggie dish to go.. My favorite is Tandori chicken! Butter chicken .. Okura in dinner buffet! I try to avoid fried dish but Samosa looks great! Lots of condiments ..as for dessert.. There are an authentic dessert such as rice pudding, Gulab jamun and something else. No coffee though They've used to serving coffee as all you can drink but they stopped serving coffee.. Disappointing but their coffee was tastes like water anyway :):) . . Bon Appétit

There are a couple of tables if you want to eat in, but primarily, one takes out the food. We treat ourselves to dinner from here whenever we are in the mood to have Indian dishes; every dish has always been tasty, of good quality and very well prepared. They will make the dishes mild or spicey, whatever you prefer. We highly recommend the food and fast service at Ambadi.

The Indian food is delicious and very reasonably priced, particularly at India Cafe's takeout restaurant adjacent to the main dining room, which offers "lunch boxes" for around $10. I frequented this restaurant during the work week for lunch, and visited maybe 10 to 15 times this Fall.I was willing to overlook the tremendous presence of flies in the takeout area, although it appeared to be unsanitary. Granted, I never saw a fly in the actual food, but you cannot walk into the takeout restaurant and not see flies, which is gross. The proverbial straw that broke the camel's back for me was last week when I saw a cockroach crawling on the wall behind the lunch buffet and cash register. Completely gross and unacceptable, and makes me wonder what on earth the kitchen looks like if flies and roaches are visible in the guest takeout area. I love the food here, but the stomach turning volume of bugs has made me a former customer.

This is the first time we tried Coriander and we have eaten at all of the Indian restaurants in the area over the years. They have no buffet for lunch or dinner. But the prices are fair and the portions are large. Everything we ordered was seasoned perfectly. People have commented on the slow service, but we were served in a reasonable period of time. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the atmosphere is relaxed. We'll definitely return! It's well worth a try!

Find another location for lunch in White Plains, Perhaps the worst experience with unfriendly service even for a buffet. Perhaps we came towards the latter part of a lunch buffet but this is a poor excuse for the lousy quality. All styles of chicken were overcooked burned and dry. Plain white rice, also on the dry side. Cafeteria style salad, also perhaps from the bottom of the pot. Basically no pre-lunch selections other than a watered-down soup (did not even try it). The Nan was thin, dry, burnt and in pieces. We wondered at the quality of the kitchen hygiene since both the men's and the women's washrooms were filthy . Toilet paper was supplied for the men's towels. The décor appears to be designed for a post World War II Bulgarian communist restaurant. This place should be used by a cooking school as an example of how NOT to run a restaurant. We did come with a Groupon but this should be an incentive to come back often. The bill came with a $2.00 extra food charge and a 17 cent tax. When we politely enquired what the two bucks were for, the server said it was tax. Hey, this place is just three blocks from the county courthouse. Mr. Tax man is too close for this kind of bookkeeping. The worst part was that I left a 15% tip. My wife was very upset considering the surly non existent service.
