The first South Indian and Indo Chinese restaurant in Wanganui.
We went on a Wednesday evening after my daughter had guides. At the time we were the only party dining so service was attentive. Ordered a couple of entrees, momos and some vege dosas. I have had dosas in India and Nepal and my masala dose was one of the best I have ever had and great value for money. Take a big appetite, as I couldn't finish it and got to take a doggy bag home... I was full after finishing it the following day! The mango Lassi tasted nicely fermented, and there is a lot of menu choices. The parathas were melt in the mouth gorgeous. I would liked to have seen the dessert menu except I was too full of food to eat more. The chai flavoured with cardamom was a great digestive finish. Nice not to have Bolloywood movies in the background for a change. We'll be back!

Have been here three times now and have not been disappointed. Our first visit was because our daughter wanted idian for her birthday and our regular Indian restauant happened to be shut. Now we have been back twice and may end up changing our allegiance. The service is quick with the usual range of indian dishes on offer. What is the difference between our regular and Tandoori bite? Well for me it is the flavour. They seem to be able to draw the flavour out even in the hottest of curries (my preference). Our kids are happy with the butter chicken and sold on their onion bhaji.
