I had a business tour to Airbus in Ulm for three days. I searched for local Indian Restaurant and Shalimar came on top of list. I have been to many Indian restaurants in Munich and adjacent areas and after having two dinners at this restaurant and I can undoubtedly say that it is most authentic Indian restaurant. The taste is heavenly, they add up spices according to individual wants. Their service is so friendly, they even gave a portion of dessert at end for tasting. Highly recommended for traditional and authentic food lovers!thank you so much, much appreciated

First, the service at Safran is very fast, likely the fastest I've seen out of an Indian restaurant in a while! It was very appreciated after a long day visiting Legoland. The food iis good overall, with a nice garlic naan, though a little salty. The curries were good and, again, came out very fast!The prices were good, standard low prices you'd find in Germany. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who's craving Indian near Gunzburg.

We were enjoying the appetizers and ambience until the main courses arrived. The curry and briyani were way too salty for our taste. Other than that, it was a decent restaurant.
