ordered a take out for two. Both main courses were delicious, the only slight disappointment was that the Peshawari Nan was a bit small and had no fruit in it. However there was a nice surprise as we were given onion bajis, samosa and a dip for free. The price was reasonable and the portion size good.Staff very polite.
Wanted fish and chips in batter and we know this place caters for kebabs and pakoras etc etc etc . Where can one find a chippy in Stranraer that does battered fish and chips and takeaway not sit in ? We have tried one other and was not impressed as the fish was no longer sold . This place said breaded fish so went for battered sausage and chips x 2 and was only £6.60 so âcheap as chipsâ. Freshly cooked but you wouldnât think so as when we got home not far to go the chips seemed exhausted ... well very tired anyway . No batter on the sausage but tasty all the same . For what we paid it served itâs purpose but thatâs not great . Where can we find battered fish and chips and good at that to take away as we know where we can find fish and chips to sit in ... but sometimes we would like to take it home . Sorry guys would we be back ??? Maybe for a pizza or pakora.
Arrived in town on a family visit, and wanted some Indian style kebab dish to see me through to the next day. There was nothing Indian about my kebab when I got home, there was raw pizza toppings and uncooked chips in the "hoggie" now I know this was never going to be fine dinning Indian food, but at £8.50 I was expecting a half decent kebab and not a rolled up raw mess and a visit to the doctor. Also the service was shocking after being told it would be ready in 5-10 mins, it was finally ready 30 mins later. How can it take 30 mins to roll up raw food ???? Think I'll go somewhere else next time.
