To be fair we were the only folks in there at lunchtime - however things can still go wrong but happy to say they didnât. Service from the waiter was really good and he communicated with us really well in a mature fashion. Food was also very good from what is the classic âenglishâ Indian. Iâve had much much worse from other establishments but at Blue India the food is very good, not oily and just nicely spiced for my taste. Will definitely come again and recommend

Excellent quality and very good value; two of us shared a chicken tandoori, two starters, and a pint and half of cobra for £34. The service was good, and there was no problem when we had to arrive a little later than anticipated. Highly recommended.

Went there at 5.30pm just as they opened. Served very quickly. Had a pleasant drink while awaiting curries to takeout. Took about 15minutes. Food very tasty, i had chicken, shashlick bhuna , some bits very tender , some bits a bit chewy. Partner had lamb acheri, very large pieces so not so easy to break with just a fork, needed knife.

The front of house Manager was very friendly and helpful recommending dishes we would not necessarily have tried. Service was a bit slow at times and we thought the temperature of the main meals could have been higher by heating the plates. We didn't have desert it was brought from a supplier and not very appetising. A choice of plain ice cream would be better.

Was empty when we arrived about 6:30 on weekday evening. But filled up later. Friendly welcome.Service was great with good timing. Attentiveness well judged. Menu interesting. Scallop starter unusual for curry in my experience but was perfectly cooked and good flavour. Mains also brilliant. Special chicken curry was mild and perfect for my wife, but also good flavours. Lamb main beautifully marinated, tender and tasty, nice level of spice. Great experience. Highly recommend. Shame it was a very hot night and no air-con. But that's no major problem. Not had better curry anywhere in West Sussex. Pricing good value for standard of foodThank you for your custom and for taking the time to write such a lovely review.Great to hear you enjoyed your food and your visit, we take great pride in our home cooked menu so itâs always great to have such lovely feedback on both Food and Service..As a small family run establishment we take great pride in our menu and our service so its always very appreciated to receive feedback from our Guest. We greatly appreciate this. Where to eat American food in Storrington: The Best Restaurants and Bars
The place is a bit scruffy and the one time I went there a young male member of the staff was talking to a friend (I assume) and almost every second word was profanity...I do not expect this sort of language when waiting for food in a restaurant. I did not return.

Started badly, sat down and weâre asked immediately if we wanted drinks no time to even open the menu. The waiter rushed us to order the drinks. The drinks came fairly quickly except for the water we asked for. We had to ask 3 times for the water. (It was a very hot evening and the restaurant was very warm too). We ordered a chicken passanda, chicken dansak, brinjal bhaji and a sag paneer. All the food wasnât particularly hot the chicken was dry. The cheese in sag paneer was like rubber and the brinjal bhaji wasnât very tasty. These are dishes we often order at other curry houses so we were very disappointed. So we left most of our food. When the waiter cleared our table I tried to tell him we were disappointed with the food but he either ignored us or didnât understand. We definitely wonât be going back.
