Family takeaway, food was delicious. We got chicken Dansak, tikka masala and chicken korma as main meals, rice/ naan were also beautiful. It couldn't have been any better. Reasonably priced, We all loved it. We will definitely return soon. Hopefully try a sit in next time

We decided to give this restaurant a try while driving back from a day trip to St Bees. The place didn't look much from the outside, but we read lots of good reviews on Trip Advisor and gave it a go anyway. The place was quiet when we first arrived, which was around 7pm on a Tuesday evening. Within half an hour or so, the place started filling up with people, lots of people coming and going for take-aways too, which is always a good sign. Staff were friendly and the food was very tasty indeed. They had a large menu with some variations on common dishes that was good to see. Would definately come back the next time we are in Whitehaven.

Visited friends who live locally and like this takeaway. We all ordered and had it delivered. The food was really good and plentiful, so much so that we didn't manage to finish it though we only ordered five mains between six people. We ate from all the dishes and they were all excellent. Would certainly recommend, they even arrived quicker than they had said.

Myself and partner are currently holidaying locally, and some other holidaymakers recommended this place as said they had a lovely meal. I phoned my order through and was told it would be ready for collection in 40 mins, but it actually took just over an hour.We had chicken jalfrezi and prawn biryani with a few side orders. The food was okay - but generally was lacking in a bit of spice and flavour (I know tastes differ, but we prefer Indian food which is aromatic and flavoursome). The sag paneer was the most disappointing thing as it was not made with paneer cheese, it was more like melted mozzarella in spinach - not good.Naan breads were good!We wouldn't visit this take away again, but as I mentioned above, the other holidaymakers we spoke to enjoyed their meal, so maybe it's a matter of taste.
