With all the chaos on the streets of Salem, this is a great place for a meal. The parking is on the opposite side of a the road and it's a challenge to get into the restaurant between the cows, honking bikes, cars and people. A very busy place and seems very popular amongst the locals. There is an a/c restaurant inside and this is an oasis of calm compared to the chaos outside. We ordered for a thaali and was served quickly. It comes with a starter veg soup, chappathi and umpteen dishes. Everything was very good Service was also fast and good. All in all a great value for money place.

A cozy health food restaurant serving authentic quality and hygienic food. The menu is designed by nutritionists. We do not add any artificial colors, flavors, taste makers etc. We don't have fried items in our menu. Menu consists of South Indian, North I
This month when I had been to Salem, I paid a visit to Diet Kitchen. The first thing that struck me as I entered the place was its ambience. The restaurant is small but very clean and neat and the friendly staff would make anyone feel at home in an instant. At the same time it is also very easy on the purse. Menu: The appetizers, buttermilk, raw vegetables, quantity of food, rice, chapati are all very thoughtfully designed.Staff: Staff is very friendly and will make you want to come again. Taste: Was very good but the focus of the restaurant seems to be more on calories and serving a healthy food.Overall: Feels more like an Ayurvedic Resort/Spa of Kerala than a regular restaurant but is easy on your wallet also.I would definitely like to come here whenever I pass through Salem.

This hotel is located right on the bye pass road near State Bank Colony. I went to the restaurant adjoining the hotel for Lunch. I ordered mini meals which was served quick and it comprised a chappathi, subji, potato chips, onion raita, veg pulao, samabar rice and curd rice. Quality of the food was good, nice and neat ambience, good service are appreciable. Lot of car parking space is available as such travellers driving inter city, inter state prefer this hotel for boarding also lodging.

This is a chain of restaurants in many big cities in Tamilnadu. This particular restaurant in salem, is at Omalur main road, very close to GRT and Pothy's mall. The restaurant is quiet big, spacious and well decorated but I was not happy with the quality of food. The cost is high when compared to the regular salem restaurants but there was no taste, mainly in the side dishes and were bland. I found the restsurant empty even at a peak dinner time of 8 p.m. The sweets might had been good but i did not try.

We just visited the restaurant for our lunch before waiting for our Bengaluru bound train yesterday on the way back from our 2 days Yercaud visit. It is an exclusive vegetarian restaurant located just before the first platform and nearer to the railway station escalator. The lunch was so tasty with a few side dishes and the service was so quick and prompt. The air-conditioned portion of the restaurant is comparatively small which could be little expanded and also kept little more neat as we found some scraps were stored in a corner. The restaurant perhaps is so convenient for those passing railway passengers when just come to board or to getting down at the Salem Junction station.

The ambiance and all other amenities are good.. But then they take is out on the customer by jacking up the cost. Its certainly not wallet friendly. An ordinary Masala Dosa and Filter Coffee will pinch you... Rs.125 plus GST.. Its not for the common man.. only for the well heeled affluent's ..

Wonderful joint serving some good nonveg south Indian classic foods.Donor miss the Nattukkozhi Biriyani with a plate of boneless chilli chicken, added with a mouthwatering fish fry and end it with a kaadai roast. The gravy given is home made style which adds to the taste, which lingers for a long time. When in Salem donor miss this place.

Just cross and descend few steps to reach this place in front of New bus stand Salem. though always busy, you can find a quality and good variety of vegetarian food here and the cost is reasonable. fruit juices and sweets also available and even you can find a bakery adjacent to this place.
