Welcome to Chimney Indian Restaurant, one of Rotorua's most popular spots for the Entrees, tandooris and curries of India. We're open 7 days a week
Could not decide where to eat and did a search and decided on Chimney. What a find. We have been coming to Rotorua for a long time and passed the place but never ventured in. Delicious food and great service. We had the chefs special goat curry and chicken curry, really nice. You can choose how hot you want the dishes to be. Definitely going back on our next trip.

''Team Paradise'' Restaurant Rotorua'' annonces itself as best Indian Authentic Indian cuisine Restaurant with full flashed 5 course menu along with certified Halal Food.
We were stopping here after Zorbing for a late lunch before heading back to Auckland. This was the only Indian place open at that hour (around 4 PM). The place was very run down so we were a little anxious. Anyway we had sat down so we decided to just finish lunch. We were pleasantly surprised by the food. It was tasty and hot and very nice. We had the bread basket, Malai Kofta, Baingan Bharta and Yellow Dal. All were very nice. The guy running the place said he had just come from India and trying to settle in. We wished him the best and set off on our return trip.

I rarely eat Indian food while traveling because itâs a let down. But we went to this place as my Husband is an ardent Indian food lover and this place was just amazing. I had the lamb Rogan josh and it was spot on. The meat melted in the mouth. The Chana masala was super delicious. The chef is a sweetheart. So cheerful and pleasant. I would highly recommend this place.

Butter chicken was cubed (processed?) And if it was the best in town like their signage says then I'd hate to try anything else in Rotorua. Rice and chicken cold to luke warm and we sat next to a vacuum cleaner (like what!!). Heard waiter say to another couple "want your food yet". Fastest service in town, microwave works overtime. BoganThank you so much for your review. Sorry for this an inconvenience and the signage that placed outside the restaurant saying "Best Butter chicken in Town". We have placed that due to customer choice saying that Our restaurant actually does best butter chicken in town. Also, really sorry that my staff gave you the table next to the vacuum cleaner. Also, we do not use the microwave at all for cooking food or heating in the restaurant due to some council laws. Again, really sorry we could not able to fulfil your expectation with the butter chicken. Thank you team lovely India

Rotorua's most awarded restaurant with awesome atmosphere and flawless service.
We are regular visitors to this restaurant. The food is consistently of high standard and the staff are so professional and friendly. We get the non-vegetarian banquet and that covers all corners of the menu. Takeaways are always high standard too. Highly recommend.
