Indian restaurant and takeaway
Had a takeaway from here and I have to say it was probably the best curry Iâve had. I live behind the Indian sizzler and new shapla but the spice lounge knocks the socks off them.

Memsaab Indian Cuisine
Under new management, and now called Rubyâs Murray, the Indian restaurant at this local pub does outstanding takeaway.Packed full of spice, and not overboard on the chilli heat, there are layers and layers of delicious flavour. We ordered a couple of the specials. All the meat was beautifully tender and the food wasnât too greasy, as many indian takeaways can be.Highly recommended, the service was great and the delivery was speedy. Thanks for a lovely fatherâs day meal!

I can't really rate the food as it was delivered over an hour 1/4 too early ! When I said to the guy it's too early but he made no attempt to take it back ) and to do what? Put it on a warmer till I was ready? I can do that!) so we took the food and ate at 5:30 - even my kids couldn't t eat then. Threw most of it away. AVOID

Back to a three. Late delivery (although apologised) potatoes undercooked, rice under cooked. Not the best by a long shot.Chicken was tasty.I have to say that we have ordered twice from here in the past ten days and the flavours have definitely improved, the quality of the chicken is very good! Arrived both times when it said it would. Bombay potatoes are very nice indeed. So, we will keep on ordering from here. Really enjoyed the lamb, chicken, chicken tikka, balti, dopiaza, starters and sides!

The food here is good and reasonably priced, the Wednesday banquet offer is very good value. Friendly and efficient service in nice surroundings. The only negative is that they won't give receipts, ok if out for a family meal but more of an issue when on business. I ended up with a menu with the dishes we had circled - not sure what my accountant will make of it!!!

All day casual dining restaurant, offering breakfast, lunch, craft beers and house matured cocktails and dinner.
We thought we would try this new restaurant after reading some good reviews as we are very partial to Indian cuisine. What a very agreeable surprise we had. We started with the basket of mini Papadums and crispy Namak Pare which were very crispy and tasty. Our starter course was Bhinki Jaipuri and Baigan Tikki both of which we had never had before and we loved them. Our main courses were Salmon Tikka and chicken Hyderabadi Biryani. Again very different and delicious. We will definitely be returning very soon to try some different dishes.
