The Curry Leaf is a well established restaurant that has been in Pukekohe for many years. We ate here again on Saturday night. Staff were polite and friendly and explained various dishes on the menu. Samosa for entrée was big and the Rogan Josh was just brilliant, with the beef melting in the mouth and the rice cooked to perfection. Possibly on the hotter side of medium as far as curries go, but not off putting. Good selection of wines and beers. If you in joy Indian food the Curry Leaf is well worth trying.

We decided to pop in here for lunch on the way home from the beach.Being Fathers Day it was quite busy.We have dined here several times and the food is fantastic. However, I have had to rate it lower this time as our waiter looked as if he had sucked a lemon. He was very polite and courteous but just looked like he didnât want to be there. The two other let downs were, one, there were two of us and only one glass was brought with the water and it wasnât clean. Two, the table cloth on the one side looked as if someone had used it as a napkin.Otherwise, we didnât have long to wait for the meal, we were offered the lunch special and the food was well presented and again fantastic flavours.
Authentic Indian Food In pukekohe
Came here to celebrate 18th birthday with extended family of 12. The flavours of the items on the sizzling platter was really tasty, as well as the dishes of chicken tawa (the best I have had at any indian restaurant!!), and the other dishes we had were also very good. More than Happy to let us bring in a birthday cake with candles. Staff were great, attentive and friendly. Both food and staff have improved 100% since it has changed hands. Family were also pleasantly surprised how much improvement there was in the quality of the food. Also happy to accommodate someone with an almond allergy. New decor is also lovely. We travelled from Manurewa to Pukekohe, so the only downside is that it isn't in Manurewa. We will visit again.
