Shamee & sheek kebab starters tasty. Only thing missing was the little omlette wrap for the shamee kebab they put on in a lot of restaurants. Really tasty mains of lamb tikka & chicked rogon but a little lacking in overall meat content perhaps & maybe too much sauce for that amount of meat. Price came in at £28 with 2 naan & 1 side of mushroom bahji & larhe pilau rice along with the 2 mains. Maybe a little over priced for a take away when we get more at a sit in place for a further £15.

Just finished work and the wife decided to call in to the Castle Gate.I chose the Goa Fish Curry. One of the best meals I have ever eaten anywhere. Food was fine, nothing special. They don't have a drink license but there's a tesco just down the road where you can purchase your own. I checked out their menu on Facebook before going and had a bit of a shock when I was given a menu with prices nearly double to the FB menu.

Had a curry from here last night. Starters were ok (samosas and bhajis). Ordered a Madras and a mixed grill. Mixed grill was overcooked and there was no pot of sauce with it. No flavour either it got given to my cats! Very disappointing we will not be ordering again...

Well, I'd put down a visit, since it was a quick one. In an out of the door in about 5 secons flat since the server told me to leave, since was ''scaring away the empty establishment and I'm bad for business''. Lol, bad judgment straight off without knowing me. I'm sure that not using your hair net scares people. Never mind, I'll be back...eventuallyHi,We feel that this review was not meant for us. After being here with family on a few occasions we decided to have a sneaky curry (instead of cooking) on Sunday night. To our surprise they offer a curry buffet and the full menu on a Sunday evening. The choice on the buffet was excellent, a selection of starters and mains having a variety of mild, medium and hot curry.Really good value, good service, free parking outside - good choice for a bite to eat on a Sunday night.
