Visited this restaurant with friends. Would recommend booking as it was really busy on a Saturday night. It's on the outskirts of Cowbridge with a strange negotiation of the road if you're travelling from the Bridgend direction, but worth the hassle. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was very, very good. The meat was tender and the dishes very tasty. I had the fish curry which was superb. Highly recommended. We will be returning soon.

The accommodation conditions are excellent, the staff very kind, professional and attentive to any need. If we had a problem, I would have agreed to call him at any time. Very elegant location and very clean. The meal at the restaurant was delicious and also my first Indian culinary experience. I felt great and if the roads of my travels ever bring me to this area, I will not hesitate to book at this wonderful hotel.

Have been using this restaurant for many years, since it's current name Palm Tree. The food is tasty and of good quality, very reasonably priced. The chef's specials are always worth venturing towards rather than the well known basic curries. We regularly visit with our friends from Cardiff and they like this curry house more than anything in Cardiff area. Says a lot !!The Naan breads are better than I've had anywhere else. It's a little disappointing to have the poppodoms served in an old plastic dish which has seen better days and should be lined with a clean "kitchen paper towel"Definitely the best curry house in the area.

Where to eat European food in Pontyclun: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Indian takeaway located in old Llantrisant with over 30 years experience in the local area, with a hygiene rating of 4 stars.
Ordered for the second time from here and everything was outstanding!! Requested delivery for 7:30 and 5 meal deals (£9.95 for starter, main, rice and naan) arrived piping hot bang on 7:30. I couldnât get enough of the chicken chat starter, and the chicken tikka garlic masala and special rice were mouth wateringly good! Excellent value for money and definitely the best curry in the area. Everyone else commented on how good their dishes were, including the tandoori mix starter, bhajis, lamb tikka starter, chicken tikka rezala, chicken bhuna, chicken tikka jalfrezi and chicken passanda. Will never order a takeaway curry from anywhere else now! Generous portions meant I had breakfast sorted too!

We were greeted at the restaurant by a waiter saying "alright" to us! None of the staff managed to say hello or smile and be friendly. We had to wait nearly 45 minutes for the starters to arrive.....I have never seen anything like it! I know Indian food and this was not Indian food. The starters and main courses had no taste to them, they looked like jar sauces had been used. They were no Indian flavours whatsoever. My so called aloo tikki chaat was actually just four pieces of potato in batter!! The butter chicken looked like pureed baby food. I think the chef (if you can call them that) needs to find a good Indian recipe book to understand how to actually cook Indian food!!I feel sorry for people who frequent this restaurant.....it is not what proper Indian food tastes like!!! Go somewhere else where you will get proper food and better service. We were so disappointed and two people out of our group had very upset tummies the following day

Hot food with delivery service and also contemporary dishes
In the absence of any pubs serving food on a Tuesday night in the town of Llantrisant I picked up a mixed Tandoori takeaway with naan bread and took it to the Bear pub to eat while watching Champions League football there! It was really very good! Thanks guys!

Had a takeaway from Zeera yesterday. Excellent choice and excellent price also. Along with rice and bread, I ordered several main dishes and a main Naga Veg dish. Excellent tastes and flavours, well presented, hot and with smashing service. £23 and enough food for four people. They are busy on a weekend as one would expect, so ordering in advance is advised. Would certainly sugest this place as a viable option for the vegetarian / vegan who likes Indian food (and doesnt want to pay over the odds)!
