we've just had a wonderful dinner here.. our son finished the whole plate of spaghetti bolognese...we're so happy ... if not really delicious he would not even touch it even he would have been starving ... so super...my husband tried Pad Kraprao ... which might be very basic Thai dish ... but the Wow was it was serving with Three kinds of steamed rice - Jasmine rice/ brown rice / and Pandan Jasmine rice .... very well cooked But the highlight was Indian food ... it was not that spicy ... but the taste is mild and wonderful ... the chicken was so tender with perfect spices ... fish curry was gorgeous ... saffron rice was so beautiful cooked ... and Garlic Naan was perfect crispy - best ever! ... Saw this on trip advisor so thought we would give it a try. The place is clean, staff are helpful in suggesting dishes and accompaniment. We enjoyed the meals we ordered and the price was reasonable

Meal - We ordered a Lamb Vindaloo & Chicken Tikka Masala.The Lamb Vindaloo was the mildest Vindaloo I've ever had, very little flavour except for a harsh kick of saltiness. The Chicken Tikka Masala lacked any flavour what so ever. Extremely bland and as with the vindaloo a horrible kick of salt. My partner complained about the Tikka Masala and told staff it was too spicy (it wasn't) so she could change it to a Korma thinking it would have more flavour. The staff were very helpful in changing it to a Korma. The Chicken Korma was also bland, it didn't even have a hint of coconut in it. We had given up at this point to try and get a good meal out of this restaurant. The only saving grace is that the naan bread was nice. Staff- Staff were friendly and helpful, and as requested by the man at the front door here is our TripAdvisor review....Value for money- 1* I wouldn't even consider paying for this sub standard of food again. An average cook can produce better quality of food! We came to this restaurant because of the amazing reviews left on tripadvisor. My personal opinion is stay clear and go somewhere that is better value for money.

I have been to a lot of countries and tried Indian restaurants but I have never been as satisfied with the food as I was here. Authentic Indian meals with the same taste like back home. Their staff Mr. Mann, miss Aye, miss Puja, miss Thin Thin were helpful, the manager was friendly and specially warm towards my parents. The ambience was good topped with Indian music. Snacks like paapdi chat and samosas were available during dinner time as well! My son was specifically pleased when they played the song of his choice. In the crowded street of patong beach, such a spacious and bright place is a treasure. All in all its a nice and cozy place to go with family.

We casually ventured into this restaurant being a vegetarian and without any hopes. Actually it turned out to be an out of box experience. Falafel and veg pizza were excellent. Friends had ordered for Butter Chicken and they literally licked up their fingers, curry was excellent and chicken was perfectly cooked. Top it off with Baklava, which literally melted in mouth.

I like my curries and Highway Curry is 5 minutes from where we were staying so I thought we'd give it a try, not expecting it to be as we discovered. I wanted a starter and like my onion bhaji. I hadn't had one for years so that was ordered. Then my wife ordered a starter. Little did we know that four good size freshly cooked onion bhaji's would arrive and they were really excellent. I've had overcooked greasy fried onion balls before, but this wasn't them. These were perfection personified. Hot, crispy and very tasty. My wife had a hot bread, a roti or nan and good job too. For a main course I had a lamb curry, and asked for spicy. I have no problems with Madras or spicy foods, and this was delicious. Spicy, but not palate destructive. My wife had one of the "sizzling" plates and it too was superb, and very quickly devoured. All in all an excellent choice of venue. Since eating there I have had many friends who are of the same opinion. If you want a very good curry, inexpensive but high quality, Highway Curry is a must. The staff are lovely and helpful with suggestions. Food is hot, fresh, and a lot of it. We took "doggy bags" back for our son. We stumbled upon this restaurant due to TripAdvisor reviews. The reviews and the great stars were spot on. We were served by a very charming waitress who recommended us what is the best meals in the Indian restaurant and the food was very fresh and made with great care for us. The food was delicious and we had a great meal. All of us enjoyed the dishes and the great service we received. If we ever came back to Phuket we will surely come and visit Magic masala again. Thx

We had our food at evening time and found good in taste. Seating in open with roofs .. and good ambience make this restaurant great. We had Paobhaji and other food items. Carry your own water bottles here.. or pay 60/- bath for 500 ml water. Can have food here for sure...
