If you looking for some of the best tasting Indian food then look no further. The Chicken Tikka Masala and the Lamb Rogan Josh were absolutely superb. The waiter / owner was only too willing to explain each dish along with the variety of starters. We will defiantly be back. I am also now looking forward to try out the other Grand Pavilion restaurants. Dear Philips, Our passion is to offer the authentic Indian food to our lovely guests in the traditional ambience, so we are overwhelmed to see that reflected on your last visit. And We are glad that you people loved our services, our dedicated team will be motivated to learn of your high appreciation. This Indian restaurant at Careel Bay, Avalon has changed its name to URBAN CURRY.The new owners are very attentive and anxious to please. We were there on a Saturday night and were the only four in the restaurant. There was a brisk take a way trade, but it seems a shame that this place is not better supported. The food was very good for a small suburban restaurant and it's a BYO with moderate corkage. All we could eat for $50 a couple (not including tip)We did book but there is no need at the moment.A good place to take the kids and they will do the curry to your taste.

We have been going to the Cheer Factory since we moved to the Northern Beaches in Nov 2017. Over 15+ visits we have always enjoyed amazing food served with genuine care and enthusiasm. We particularly love the Rogan Josh and Dahl Tadka and no visit is complete without a Chicken Tika starter. The new premises has added extra space complemented with stunning photography. Itâs a must visit.

Dine In And Take Away
I went to this place with friends a few days ago. They are from Melbourne. We ordered lots of dishes and each one of them was delicious. Service was so good and the place was spotless. Prices were reasonable. It is BYO so it was not an expensive night. We have been several times and it is consistently good.

Indian cuisine with a French influence. This influence results in subtle and flavoursome curries. Your curries can be tailored to your hot taste buds if that's what you enjoy. Not your stapled Indian. Our curries are ecstasy to your palate, try them.
It is a little restaurant tucked away in the shopping strip at Newport. We invited two friends to come with us because they enjoy Indian food too. I booked on the Dimmi website and we were given a 30% discount on the food bill. We shared the onion bhaji and lamp chops for an entree and they were both delicious. We then shared four main meals and I picked the salmon curry. It was delicious but the size of the salmon was a bit small. We also had fluffy white rice and garlic naan. We will be coming back and it is only a few minutes drive away from our house.
