We were heading home from Melbourne trying to decide what to grab for a quick dinner, after reading the great reviews we decided on Indian. These guys are awesome, they were so efficient in getting food to us quickly as were in a hurry, friendly helpful service and of course the meals were lovely. We had one Lamb and One Chicken dish with rice. We would recommend this restaurant and will happily come back again.

We were really craving Indian and our usual Indian place was closed being a Monday & Australia Day. After googling we luckily found Virsa Indian was open. The restaurant its self is a little dated to be honest. But the super attentive and friendly staff & spectacular food more then made up for this. All the dishes were perfect, the mean so moist and tender. We are so happy in the end that the other Indian was closed as we have found our new favourite Indian. We will definitely be back.

Stopped here for dinner on the way through. Conveniently located right at the Cardinia Rd Railway station. The place had only opened the day before, but as we had previously dined at another Dosa Hut and had a great experience, we thought we would try this new one. Same extensive menu throughout the chain it appears, so heaps to choose from.This place is right opposite another Indian restaurant so it will be interesting to see the possible impact on them. We ordered a butter chicken, fish curry, special fried rice, and potato dosa. All very tasty and flavourful. Plenty of staff around checking everyone was satisfied. The special fried rice was especially tasty mixed with seafood and a variety of meats.No issues observed.

Good to see more restaurants are now having authentic taste of indian food. We went for Dinner and ordered Garlic Nan with two different chicken curry dishes. Surprised at the taste , and is really yummy. We felt that the curry didn't have any food colour. This restaurant is near to Pakenham railways station.

Stopped in to Shiharaâs for dinner. Had a coconut crab salad for entree. This was reasonable, made from the crab meat you get in the supermarket, so not straight from a live cooked crab. The taste was not the same. The mains consisted of the butter chicken and Goan fish curry with saffron basmati rice and garlic naan. The chicken and fish were tasty but not very spicy. I guess we could have ordered it a little more spicy if we wanted. The naans were very generous in size as was the rice. $60 odd for two. Yes, we would come here again and try other plates from the menu.

On arrival shown to our table, getting the Menus was a little slow. Drinks and food ordered. The food was flavoursome, but the started a little cold especially the Samoosa.Good range of dishes, staff friendly. Price very reasonable. Restaurant is large and felt it to be rather cool as it was very cold outside. Restrooms needed to be cleaner.

Dined here on a Thursday evening. We were warmly welcomed and the room was just as warm, considering it was freezing outside. Ordered a tikka salad, indian calamari, saffron basmati rice, butter chicken, and garlic naan. Everything was excellent and very tasty, just what we needed for the night. $53 in total. It was pleasant to walk into a Indian restaurant and have Indian music playing instead of some duff duff stuff. shiharas is located i. Just two weeks back from India and I had a craving for Indian Food and a real Masala Tea. It's been a while since I've been to this particular Indian restaurant. Service really is fantastic (rating based on that), treat you like a high classed restarant. But I'm afraid the food was ordinary and when I asked for a Masala tea I was given a tea bag in a pot of water............ It wasn't even a real Masala tea, I was so disappointed. My sons lassie was so coloured that he went home with a yellow tongue. Lassies tasted nothing like the lassies on the streets of India. So I will have to continue on my hunt for the real thing.
