We are regulars of this restaurant, we always get great food and the service is always nice and friendly! We have tried many of the dishes and have not tasted anything we don't like. It is really good value for money too as each meal comes with rice, naan bread and raita. I would definitely recommend and I'm sure we will return many more times!

Indian Cuisine is a family (Nusrat and Ari) run Indian restaurant. Ari cooks and Nusrat serves. We also do have a excellent team. We are the oldest Indian restaurant in Oulu (been here for more than 11 years). We are located opposite to railway station in
I visited this restaurant couple of times when I was in Oulu. Good variety of food, especially vegetarian. They customize as per your need and the staff is very warm and friendly, almost make you feel like home. They even recommend you the right portions depending on your group and bang on target! Great experience indeed!

I had excellent dinner in this authentic Indian restaurant. My choice was chicken tandoori spiced with coriander, mint and spinach. They have several spice levels mine was extra spicy and I loved it. Mango lassi was also excellent. I can recommend to Indian cuisine fans.

A new kind of restaurant has just opened in Kaijonharju, Oulu! We have finally crafted our menu with the fusion of spices from many exciting cuisines, including Sri Lankan, Filipino, Indian, Thai. Come and try :)
Flavourwise 5stars, but compared to other ethnic kitchens, the sauce was a bit wet and runny. Flavour still was fantastic. This 7kms off-Oulu city center offers thai, nepalese, sri lanka,indian,filippenese-fusion flavours with a very affordable price. We took a la carte, so cannot analyze lunch buffet so far
Where to eat Nepali food in Oulu: The Best Restaurants and Bars
I noticed this restaurant by chance and was delighted to see it was another Indian restaurant, given that Indian is one of my favourite cuisines. I couldn't wait to order a takeaway and was pleasantly surprised. The staff there are absolutely wonderful, very polite and friendly and meticulous when checking your order. Since then we have had several takeaways from them and have also visited them during a lunchtime buffet. We like our food spicy, fiery hot so usually we have to request this upon ordering. We have ordered the Lamb Rogan Josh, Lamb Dopiaza, and Hyderbadi Lamb. Also a Chicken Butter Tikka Masala for our son. It comes with rice, as normal for restaurants in Finland. We also ordered Garlic Naan and poppadums and onion salad - everything was delicious. The takeaway containers are packaged and sealed in plastic containers, to avoid any spillage...that's a huge plus for me!Our favourite dish there would have to be the Lamb Dopiaza as it is brillantly spiced and flavoursome, particularly with the peppers to enhance the dish. When visiting the buffet, I was glad the Dopiaza was on the list too, however I was ever so slightly disappointed that the buffet curries are kind of generic tasting, much similar to other restaurants in Oulu, but I guess this is due to the mass production of the dishes for the buffet. Anyway, it certainly didn't disappoint me too much. If I wasn't on a wretched diet, I'd probably visit a bit more frequently!Price-wise: comparable to the other restaurants in town though occasionally Tandoori hut will have a special offer, so please watch out for those!I highly recommend you try this restaurant and please do not be put off by it being right at the other end of Isokatu - just think of the warm welcome you'll receive and delicious food! I'm happy...now I have two favourite Indian restaurants in town!
