Booked a table after seeing good reviews. This place is shambolic and the dinner was totally disappointing, one disaster after another. Arrived on time and the waiters looked at us as if we were from another planet. It took 15 minutes to get their attention and order some drinks. We tried to order food and was told by the waiter that he would have to check with the chef that he was ready to cook! Ordered the chefs special lamb makatani with extra chilli spice but the waiter forgot to tell the chef. So the dish was very bland, not spicy at all. The peas pillau rice was greasy and the peas were overcooked. The garlic nan was thin oily and lacked flavour. The Dahl Tarka was very ordinary, uninspiring. There is no excuse for dirty stained paper tablecloths. All in all, a lacklustre shambolic totally disappointing dinner in every sense.Dear Ron G, It seems that everything was disappointing during your visit. We went there in a small group, however the service was not up to the mark. Starters were served while other given main course. Few of us were still waiting for main course while others already done with food. Some were just waiting even for first serving of food, while some were even done. Waiters were were very confused on orders, serving dishes which were not ordered. They even went to extend to not serve what we ordered and never even realized that. We reached around 7:30 p.m. and some people on table got first of food at 9:00 pm, SIMPLY unacceptable. Food was good for people who have no clue what indian food taste like, but BIG NOOO for authentic food lovers

This is a great Indian for a takeaway. The atmosphere for eating in is lacking.. Dishes may seem a bit expensive but you get loads so i have always found it to be enough for two maybe even three meals.
