Things to do in Newbury
Thoroughly recommend this newly opened takeaway. We didn't expect the 2nd delivery to be as good as the first but we were very happy. The food its good value, is hot and very tasty when it arrives. It is great as I like Indian food and my partner not so much. So I can order Indian Food and he has a choice of kebabs, burgers or chicken! All of which are very good. The Indian dishes are to die for!!! At last a decent Indian take away in Newbury so no more having to order from Thatcham!! Keep up the good work and you will do well in Newbury but don't become greedy and start letting customers down with deliveries like so many others who give a delivery time and then arrive an hour late !!
Great mea, delicious food - all freshly cooked. Came with family and even the kids did not complain (minor miracle).

The food was delicious and diverse. The service was impeccable and fast, although the place was full. I loved it!

We were looking for a meal and found Isham. The food was varied on the menu with a good selection for all tastes. What was it like? Amazing! The quality was excellent with ample portions. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would we return? YES!!

I went here just the once but could not fault either the service or the food. The poppadums were freshly cooked and the accompanying pickles were good. My Chicken Jalfrezi and the Dal Tarka were perfect and just the right amount, and the garlic naan was beautiful. Service was polite, attentive, but not intrusive. It was all reasonably priced too. No reservations at all in recommending this restaurant.

We arrived having pre-booked a booked table into a noisy, chaotic pub. Ordered drinks, gin and tonic was served in a Fosters Half Pint glass! Next we were shown a table in the chaotic public bar having booked a table to eat we pointed this out and voiced that weâd rather eat in the restaurant as booked and agreed to have our drink in the bar whilst waiting for a table. In the end the wait was not long at all. After these faux pas the actual food and service were great, the curry excellent. As this what we came for weâd be happy to recommend with a caveat to expect it to be a noisy busy pub.

Really good takeaway food, the best we have had for a long time. Free poppadoms and sauces, a spicy lamb jalfrezi and a delicious house special masala with chicken and minced lamb, light and not greasy pilau rice, friendly staff. Perfect. We travel around the uk and always search for a good takeaway, this is one of the best yet.

We dropped in as the place was really busy and it was a Wednesday evening, fortunately we managed to get a table, usual beer selections plus a Nepalese beer all nice to wash down the obligatory poppadoms etc. The main man was a character and full of joy, with a good sense of humour, good advice on choices, and pleasant to deal with, this makes a real difference in these places. Will definitely go back next time in Newbury

Sadly the staff seemed very disinterested in us. Not real interest and almost as though we were interfering with them doing other things. Food unremarkable and other local restaurants do it, in my opinion better. I am just sad. My king prawn curry was ok but smothered by the taste of coconut. One last tip - the Indian Sauvignon Blanc is well worth giving a miss.
