AL-JANNAT Indian Restaurant is the only purely Halal restaurant in Nanjing city. It's famous for authentic Indian and Asian food all over China. Location of the restaurant is at the most popular Food Street in Nanjing which is near touristic Xuan Wu Lake.
A very nice and inexpensive halal restaurant in Nanjing. We had graduation gathering with my Chinese supervisor and colleagues. Everyone liked it a lot. I wish I could stay for a long time in Nanjing. We had many dishes but remember some like Samosa, Butter Chicken, Chicken Keema Rice, Milk Tea etc.

The food is good and the lassi is fresh. Some days it is quite crowded, so large groups may want to make a reservation. The food is similar to other Indian restaurants in Nanjing, like Taj Mahal, but the decor is more appealing. Prices of the stewed dishes range from about 50-70 yuan. Starters and tandoori are cheaper.
